I've got a 2023 Goldwing And A 2024 Pursuit. The Pursuit is the better bike, It handles better. Better suspension The Goldwing can bottom out on the front. Better seat on the pursuit. The ability to eaily remove the rear box making it a bagger in moments. Way better sound system on the Indian and way better electronics. The belt on the pursuit means its not quite as long term as the Goldwings shaft but its still no maintenance and its gonna last a long time. The Goldwings weight is very low making it a joy at low speed and the DCT suits some people and always suits long distance and city riding. But the Indian just has more class and charisma for me.

I own this exact bike. A 23 model. Incredible. Best bike i have ever owned. She is a beast. Performance bagger. Stock without a tune will outrun a Harley cvo. Also worth noting. The trunk is quick release. Takes under 3 minutes to remove and put on. So you really getting the ability to convert her into a challenger. I mostly ride without trunk. For performance and style. Worth paying a little extra to get the pursuit.

As a Harley guy who has had many Harleys with my last 4 being CVO touring bikes. I have wanted to own one of these as my past two bikes, but the major thing that prevents me from doing so it the paint. More specifically the very thin and soft clearcoat. Also, the bolts seem to rust much quicker than those on Harleys. Maybe Indian will up their game a bit in the next year or two and I will eventually purchase one.
@MOTOBLADE3 ай бұрын
As an Indian owner (have had 2) and a Harley owner, I can attest to paint being 1 of my 2 complaints. However, I will say it has drastically IMPROVED in recent model years. As far as the bolt rust I can’t say I have noticed that at all. Harley has more on it than the Indian does. Could be due to different environments/ humidity, powder coated parts in crucial areas, etc.

The dealer was afraid it would never sell! For me it's the near perfect bike and I rode them all, BMW K1600, Goldwing & road glide. So happy with my Yamaha and it's different looking from the rest. It's the coolest bike I have ever ridden down the road. I have an older Goldwing and it will melt you on hot days and this does not. From what I've heard (and I'm only a small-timer on KZbin, I don't get any inside information, just what is passed on to me), they are committed to not making the same mistake as Harley - so we'll see! Only things these companies have to do is just not do anything one way or another. Make a good product and then keep your trap shut. Consumers get enough politics and garbage on the nightly news. Don't want it from companies we like - we just want good products. Hopefully Indian is smart enough to do this - and I think they are!

Well I’d say that Harley has copied the look of the Indian, the new Harley’s look exactly like the Indian , yes maybe Indian copied the frame mount fairing but the look is definitely Indian’s look

Not only did Indian not copy Harley with the front fairing design, Harley copied Indian by dropping the separate turn signal design in the front and going with the fully integrated LED lights in the front. Let me save you the trouble with Harley. Their vtwins STILL perform the same way because they will never drop their ancient, cheap engineering. Indian revs for more power where Harley power dies off in the upper RPMs. What does that mean? You’re going to get smoked by an Indian on the interstate. Harley is inferior in every other way other than branding and marketing. The problem is branding and marketing doesn’t mean a damn thing when you’re broke down on the side of the road.

I think Harley has done some good marketing FOR INDIAN in the past month with all their recent company "positions" shall we say :) And yes - I love smoking the Harleys on the interstate with my Chieftain 🤣

This might be an ok bike but, I can't take the "gotta make it so different from a harley we have to tolerate asshole ugly" fairing. It is the ugliest thing they could build.

Chieftain might be more your speed then for the front fairing design. I personally like the challenger front fairing, but I really thought they made it look too much like a road glide actually. That’s why there’s 100’s of other bikes out there - we all like different designs!

Yes sir! Harley has done some outstanding marketing for Indian over this past month. I've had my Harley since before this whole thing happened. It was made before that CEO ever took over. So I'm not going to "dump it" tomorrow. But I'm thinking in the future I may trade it in for another Indian, like a small scout to go along with the Chieftain. Certainly won't be giving the bar and shield any more of my money unless they make a major corrective action, not just a "back-pedal".

@@MOTOBLADE It sucks to save money to get your dream bike then the company hires someone like him and ruins the image. I wanted a new Harley to ride along side of my father and his Harley. That is not going to happen. Hopefully they fire that guy and get rid of the jacked up mentality they have right now. God bless! and ride safe!
