Haha I rode that trail on my dr350 in one go, half loaded with gear. I thought it was difficult but very fun! I walked one section where I went the wrong way at a Y. I can’t believe you guys took bigger bikes! I was wiped after riding it on my little 280lb bike. Great job

Thanks! It'd be fun to go back! Maybe with little bikes :-)

Great job. Love how you keep such a positive attitude even with all the obstacles.

Thank you! I think it was my favorite part of the trip, because of the obstacles! :-)

Nice trail, got to try that one, carefully. Love to see more gals out riding. Keep at it.

Thanks! There's another single track option out there that I'd love to go back and do on the 350!

Wow now that's some single trac right there!! Great job on keeping moving forward on such technical stuff on big bikes

Thanks! Once you get halfway through, there's only one way to go!!

you have grown so much as a rider since I started following your channel. always amazed. this video might be the best argument for soft bags over hard boxes I've ever seen. not sure I'd ever take my bike with hard boxes on this ridiculously technical trail, but it is something to think about.
@fortheloveofknobs2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Even soft bags were tight! But I do think the hard bags added an extra challenge and weight. :-)

Wow! What a trip, you ladies sure had a lot of fun. I haven't been brave enough to take my big bike on those trails. Looking for a smaller bike for that single track stuff. Thanks for posting.

Gnarly trails! Good to see you made it on ADVs, it would have been a lot easier on small dirtbikes.

😯 That was a lot of TIGHT spaces lol Is there a work around for us "wide" bike people? XD
@fortheloveofknobs2 жыл бұрын
Yes!! I took a wrong turn after we finished the single track so we rode the work around too! It's a beautiful 20 minute ride! 🤣

Hi Kris, Looks like you two are having lots of fun! Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I am curious what soft panniers are you using on the 690? Thanks

Glad you enjoyed it! They're the Giant Loop Siskiyou's.

I'm assuming this is the more technical single track option of the GripTwister tracks... I sure hope so, don't think this would be an option on the Africa Twin 🤪
@fortheloveofknobs2 жыл бұрын
Yup! We also rode the main route for this section (accidentally) and it was a lovely gravel and paved road. I think the Africa Twin would be a beast on there! :-)

@@fortheloveofknobs that's a relief 😁 Thanks Kris! You two kicked butt out there! Looking forward to the rest of your adventure.
