Nice one ☝️. I camped by myself a while ago. It was a bit freaky. I plan on doing more Moto camping soon thanks for the inspiration.

Excellent! You really have the knack on stringing up an entertaining video. You did great on your first Solo Motorcycle Camping Trip. Nice setup, camp fire, decent meal plus great night photos. Well done 👍.

I'm also new to Melbs and I'm absolutely HANGING OUT to go on some moto camping trips. Been slowly buying little things here and there for the kit. The bike needs a couple little mods done to it to manage bags comfortably too, I have a scrambler style bike too, so not hella set up for camping just yet. Really enjoying your beginnerish experience, make it all feel more accessible and less daunting. Maybe we will pass each other in the dirt one day!

Solo Moto camping and touring is great. You should check out the Garmin Inreach. Affordable satellite communications. Just knowing that wherever you travel, you can always communicate if you have to…. Game changer.

Cool vid man! Greeting from the other side of the world up here in Canada. I actually found you through your new ASMR channel and found it very cool to watch both versions of videos of the same trip. I make similar style solo camping, hiking, and bushcraft videos and I really like your relaxed style and solid editing. Seeing how well your first ASMR style video on your new channel did has got me thinking about trying something like that for my channel too. Cheears man!

Hey Rob; As you have a Triumph Street Scrambler, I also have one. In fact I managed to swap my 2019 model to the Sandstorm 2022 model and what a Fkn difference, I am going to put on a rear rack, I have the Side Pannier Rack and Bag, with a Windshield...I like some comfort. Stay safe.... LOL...David...Adelaide...Tiger 900GT.... PS....maybe next time I go to the Grampians we could meet up....

Hello Rob; Congratulations on Solo Camping, its difficult for a social man like you to be cut off from others and communications; Its good to just simply get away and take some time out. You have proven you an do this. David...Adelaide...Tiger 900GT & Street Scrambler

Question for you - How do you manage your SD cards etc on a trip? Do you take a handful of cards and just use them and fill them up? Do you have a laptop or something that you transfer the data to each night or something else? Also wondering about how much storage does a hour of 360 footage fill up?

Hi bud, if you want your Partner to know your location just get a Samsung Tracker and give her access to it or get her to put hers with you. So that when you do get signal any Samsung phone can send your location to her.

I hope you really enjoyed it. It’s a peaceful time which I think compliments trips with mates. Alone with nature and your thoughts is more important than ever in our crazy busy, always on-line world. I enjoy my solo-moto camping because I don’t feel I need to please anyone else. Didn’t know you’re a jazz musician, that’s epic IMO! Check my channel to see why 👌🏼you have any music vids?
