I wish milestone would add the camera view @5:13 as an in game option. All they would have to do is make the rider a lot more transparent. This new view of playing the game can really place you in the game. I’ve been wanting this view since MotoGP 2008. Wish I can talk to one of the developers about this. Lol

so far i dont like their other games much (ME supercross etc) but this looks pretty good, not that i know much about motogp other than a few of the riders names.. hopefully they will keep splitscreen on pc too, they were always one of the few games that still included it and i respected them for that, splitscreen is pretty much the most fun you can have with a game

Tye Williston I guess I was just so used to reflex, it felt totally different, also somehow kinda boring. The graphics were sweet though, same with the cornering. Mxgp pro is looking good though. As long as there's 2 strokes :)

Does this game run at 30 or 60 frames per second? I heard that it runs 30fps at the PlayStation 4. Is there any difference to the Xbox One X?

why the A.I movement always pull up and then pull down immediately like pumping up and down while leaning their bike in the middle of the corner, i think this happen eversince the motogp 13

Why do the bikes lean the same in the wet as they do the dry? That's why wet lap times in game are only 5 secs off but in real life more like 15

I pre ordered and I got my copy on sat the 2nd really early and it does play very different to 2017. Still getting the hang of it I'm not sure it's a step in the right direction yet. I need to put in more time?

Please keep us posted on your experience. Their jump onto the Unreal engine for MXGP 3 was definitely a step backwards; MXGP 2 felt a lot better. I hope it's not the case in this game.

I don't think there is a single Milestone game that runs at 60fps on console. And there is absolutely no excuse for that, so they should step up their game on that end. If Project Cars 2 and GT Sport can run at 60fps, so should any of the Milestone games. Other than that, I usually enjoy their games a great deal (Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, Ride, Ride 2, the MXGP series, Moto GP...); load times are long at times and sounds are often lackluster too, but the gameplay tends to be on point.

MotoGP 17 is 60 on console. It's very slick. Bummed this is going back to 30.

Yeah, MGP17 was 60 on console but that was before they changed to UE4, they say it's back to 30 due to the transition of game engine. I wonder if the game is capped at 60 on PC or not

I wouldn't be surprised if it was optimized the next few years and back to 60 on console once they get a grasp of the new engine.

I have the game on ps4 and after playing it for a few hours now, the 30 fps is becoming increasingly annoying. There's also a bug in qualifying where the screen becomes laggy and a pop up of the other riders crashing keeps flashing up.

Does anyone know if this game has splitscreen like the previous games? Being on a new engine and all, it's making me think that they might have left it out. Pretty much the only time I play MotoGP is splitscreen with my brother, so... And we only buy a new MotoGP game once every 4 years or so. If there's no splitscreen I'll just get 2017 instead, honestly. Can't find anything about it on Google.

damn, and i was starting to think splitscreen was going to make a comeback... most of us have either a big tv or several monitors and a modern gaming pc can do splitscreen no sweat... easier than a console.. why are they removing splitscreen even from console games? splitscreen is awesome, way better than versing a pack of strangers on the internet.. that just feels like versing ai to me... might as well be. and hard ai for that matter, lol. id rather play with my mates in the same room :)

Nope, splitscreen is dead as ever unfortunately. I guess most developers just don't see it as important anymore, they mainly focus on online and e-sports garbage. It really is a damn shame. I miss the old days in the 90s and 00s, almost every game was local 2-players..

The only thing i can see that i really don't like is the body positioning on the bike. The riders don't seem to get low enough... seems like a step back from last year but maybe it will be tweaked before release. I hope anyway...

Looks like you can still touch any bike and ride as you want that you won't fall from the bike. Im not even a big MotoGp fan, i just bought 17 and it was so arcade. This one looks the same obviously

I've been playing MotoGp 18 on the PS4 pro since Saturday (thanks simply games) and it's a bit mixed.Certainly watching the pc version on here the frame rate makes a huge difference.Locked at 30 fps on console is such a disappointment.Graphically it is improved (nice smoke effects,the details on the bikes and riders are nice) but not as much as I was expecting,I'm sure unreal engine 4 can do so much more but maybe the Devs where limited in time? I'll be playing it a lot more over the coming days but early impressions are a bit mixed unfortunately as far as the console version is concerned.

Angel Garcia No just the usual MotoGP,Moto 2,Moto 3 and red bull rookies bikes.There is a tab on the main menu titled add ons but there’s nothing available as yet.Currently downloading patch 1.03 so things may change.

I dont know how they do it ,but their games getting worse every year . The body positions , the sound , i saw michelin caps in the starting grid ,bad rider faces , they took the manager out of the game ,the graphic looks still the same ... i really hope the will run out of money some day and than we can hope for a good motogp game ...

Callum smith Guitar this wont be fixed this is milestone .... the elbow dont touch the ground the knees are again in a completely wrong position . It looks like amateur racer sitting on the bike ... milestone doesnt care about anything they just want our money .

!! For all PS4 owners. Especially PS4 Pro. MotoGP looks like shit. Like a PS3 game. I guess also Xbox - Never buy a game when it's Unreal Engine!! They only go for PC. I have seen it before. Tekken 7. Miserable. When i tweet'ed them i got the answer that it was 4 K on PC. Yes. But it's easy to make 4K HDR on PS4 pro, but they can not or will not. Games like Gran Tourismo Sport, Horizon Zero dawn and especially Battlefield, 1 which graphically is far more complicated that MotoGp, is perfect, impressive 4K HDR. I guess Milestone due to a big failure have filtered the PS4 owners off. I will never buy a Milestone or Unreal engine game again. Unless they in the blink of an eye make a perfect 4K update to PS4 pro. Shame on them!!
