I just bought this Motoholder's high quality aftermarket fairing stay for my 2016 R1M from STG. I could've spent around $50 less on a another aftermarket manufacturer's high quality fairing stay. I am loyal to STG for many reasons. Firstly, their customer service and company policies are unparalled for a relatively small company who's margins are tight. Next, I like them for the passion the sales/techs people have when chatting with them about the best solution for my bikes when I call them with questions. Finally, and this is less quantifiable yet maybe most valuable, is the amount of damn time and money that I DID NOT WASTE by watching Brian's videos! I can only hope Brian keep's them coming! Thank you Brian and I thank you all at STG!

for those who concerned, this will NOT fit your road bike, it will get in the way of your headlight assembly. To be able to fit, you gotta modify it by trimming the fairing stay's nose tip.

My OEM one broke on me so I am considering getting this one assuming it works all with OEM fairings and whatnot? OE duct work is barely cheaper than this so I figured why not but the little close-out panels are necessary in my opinion and idk if I have the creativity to make a bracket.

Hey Brian, first off, thanks for all these videos. I've used them to do everything on my 16 R1 from installing my full Ti Graves kit, smog block off plates, and setting up my ftecu bench kit (the only thing I couldn't find a video for was my active tune, but it was easy enough). So please keep up the great work! Quick question about this part... I went on to your website to order this piece for my R1, and it says it's a race only part. Just curious if there is any certain reason why it can't be used on a road bike? I have an 06 R1 I use for the track, and my 16 is just more of a fun/show bike. I've done a full carbon fairing body, and would like to add this part to finish it off. Obviously if this piece won't work on road fairings or something like that, then it makes sense. But wanted to check with you before I ordered it. Thanks again!
