I bought the woolich racing kit. they actually use the exup servo plug for the qs and autoblipper. they only use 1 sensor. so strange how different these two companies go about the same thing but in two completely different ways.

To be fair I have never tried to use the autoblip riding off pace enough to answer this. This system was pretty much flawless on the R1 the whole time I had it. Wish I had more for you. If you are having issues at proper pace I would be concerned, anything under that does not seem like an issue to me. Would really need more info to make sure I am giving you the best answer. Perhaps shoot a quick email to FTECU??? Their support has been great anytime I have reached out. - Van

I flashed the bike to smooth out the throttle and get the auto blipper installed. You can not use the autoblipper without flashing the bike. This is one of the best mods ever, love it. - Van

@@sportbiketrackgear I literally bought this immediately after, and then sent my ecu out to be reflashed. Only downside to it versus another bike that I rode with auto blipper (2020 triumph street triple rs) is that you can't autoblip/down shift while you're on throttle. For some reason, you have to be 100% off throttle to use the auto blip feature. Well, if you're on highway and just want to shift down twice, it'd be nice if you could stay on throttle and the ecu just kicks auto blip and down shifts the bike... The 2020 triumph street triple rs is like this. You can stay on throttle and down shift no problem and EXCEPTIONALLY smoothly.

I have an r6 with a full bazzaz system and I love the feel of my quickshifter; however I would like to add an auto blip system without removing what I have spent so much money on. What are my options as an add-on?

The only way to add the autoblipper is to use the FlashTune ECU Flash and install their autoblip kit. No other kit exists at this time as far as I know. Sell the Bazzaz and go with the FalshTune, the autoblipper is 100% worth all the trouble IMO. - Brian Van

The system should work for you as far as I know. The Auto-blip quickshifter is an entirely separate unit from the standard quick shifter on this 2015 R1.

Hi Van, how do you feel about the recall from Yamaha for the 2015 R1? I'm pretty sure you've done alot of track riding without any issues with your gear box. And how do you feel about a Yamaha dealership mechanic stripping your engine to carry out the modifications to the gear box? Do you think this modification is really necessary knowing that you've ridden your bike hard without any issues since you've had it?

This was a 2015 R1, the 17 and up are different than the 15-16. Not sure what year bike you have, also possible that FTECU updated the kit and instructions. This auto blipper worked great on the bike, zero issues with it. - Van

I just bought an R1 and seemed like the stock Quickshifter was not working, I took it to a Yamaha Dealer and they told me that my ECU was "cracked or flashed" by an FTECU license and it used to have a FTECU autoblipper so thats why the stock QS is not working. Do you know if I will need the ECU license to be able to enable the FTECU autoblipper?

They also told me that my ECU was mapped because it seems that my bike used to have an after market exhaust so will I need that ECU license to remap it if I put a different exhaust? Currently it has the stock one

Anytime I have an issue after performing an install I like to start with double checking all of my work. Make sure all of your connections are good to go. If you do not find anything you will need to reach out to FTECU directly. Their technical support is excellent and they will be able to help get you sorted out. - Van

Hi, I have a 2015 Yamaha r1 and I just bought an FT auto blip clutchless downshift kit from Revzilia, and it comes with only one sensor. I am not sure if It needs to replace the stock sensor or It needs to be put under the stock sensor because the stock QS can only shift up.

Super easy to install on the R1. You will need to have both this kit and a FlashTune to enable the feature. Nothing to fuss with in the YRC settings on this one. Best mod on I did on the bike IMO. - Van

+Kurt Marshall No that is removes when the new shift rod is installed. Essentially the new rod has two quick shift sensors that send a signal in both directions and work directly with the new software from FTECU. For this to work you must have the shift rod kit as the stock sensor only sends a signal in one direction. - Van

Awsome video, thanks, made my install a breeze. However, did everything without an issue including enabling the auto blipper with the ECU bench kit but it won't work. QSS works just fine but when I try to downshift without the clutch I dont get the auto blip and is super hard to push on the shifter. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

I installed the OEM QSS Module from the R1M onto my Yamaha R1S but I'm not able to activate it in the YRC settings. I select 1 or 2 in QSS but it keeps switching back to OFF. The QSS is correctly connected to the white female plug. Shifts up and down fine with the clutch.

Very well played out. I ordered the blippa because of your video, but FT ECU have poor sales, I wasn't given any information after my order, I waited 10 days and then had to open a (ticket) - what's that about? Then I was told that they didn't really know when they where getting stock! Surely if they "make" them, they wouldn't have to wait for stock? I asked for a refund - they were brilliant at that, even changed status on order straight away. Shame they couldn't do sales assist first. Wasted my time hanging around waiting for an order that wasn't happening. Keep up advertising - free stuff to you. But poor sales to us bikers that are purchasing!
