Whenever i let anyone have a go on my vapour blaster people always wave it around in the cabinet.. (hehe) Yeah vixen, great machines but, If you are methodical you'll get good results from having a technique. I had my machine a year before i really got my head around all the little things involved. But so glad i did. If you have the budget go the Vixen route, if you don't study other youtubers who blast and you'll get there. Remember, having a dry blaster with same size bead as the wet blaster is a thing that's not talked about, dry blasting with bead!! That is a great way to preclean stuff before vapour blasting "same bead as wet blasting"!! After doing this both my vapour blaster and dry blaster perform better and i don't have to change out the water and media as much, Thanks for the great video guys.

How did I know they would be using Vixen long before I saw the cabinet. They are by far the best unit made. Quality costs, but they are the best.

helps with efficiency as visibility is constantly blurred with the sand dripping and setting on the glass, but there's probably more frequent changes of protective screen otherwise i imagine the wiper would scuff up the window surface

How does it compare to dry ice?
@TankEpidemic2 жыл бұрын
Most of the difference is gonan come in at cost and how gentle the blasting is. Dry ice can be very gentle to even plastic parts,doesnt have to be isolated to a media cabinet and parts can be done on the car. Vapor honing is gentler than dry meda blasting but isnt goign to be as delicate as dry ice. Dry ice blasters can be insanely expensive compared to wet media cabinets. Each process has its place depending on what you want to clean up.

Is it better than walnut media for cleaning valves and inlets on gasoline direct injection motors?
@motoiq2 жыл бұрын
Walnut is more delicate on the valve sealing surfaces and if ingested by the engine less harmful.
@axisvaporhoningindustries43122 жыл бұрын
Advantage of walnut shells is you can clean the heads without removing from an engine where as vapor honing would require complete disassembly.
