In Denmark we got temporary plates too - but only if you're buying/selling a vehicle, getting it to or from the mechanic and so - and only the shortest way. You know what's smart? The temporary plate is a sticker you put on your vehicle with expiration dates and so on.

what kinda dipstick is fishing for regi's right after the department for filing license/regi's has been closed for months? also, idk about canada, but in US we basically extended the expiration on a lot of license/regi stuff, since we knew DMV would be down. i mean the guy isn't recklessly wheeling through intersections here, he just has the wrong color sticker, i think we can chill. the plate being on the wrong vehicle is kinda a legit stop, i admit. he let him off with a warning which ultimately was pretty fair, but this stop could've been more cordial on the cop's part. he claimed he was the watch command/supervisor, and at least said he'd clear up another cop if they hassled him today, which also was fair. so i guess if he has a small stick up his ass, it's way better than the whole oak tree. grading this as a "B", simply because courtesy wasn't lacking, but could be improved. overall good stop

@@gourdguru I always say the nice riders get screwed over from the jerkoffs who don't stop for the police and play stupid games like putting different license plates on stolen bikes. It might be better to not even display a plate than to put one from a different bike on. Having no plate can be construed as either stolen or it fell off. Different plate screams stolen.
