Just a quick video on how to mount a belly pan on a Suzuki SV1000K.
SV1000 MANUALS INFO BELOW:
If you own an SV1000 from 2003:
-----------------------------------------------------
This is the SV1000SK3 service manual (Suzuki Manual number 99500-39250-01E):
www.edubs.net/b...
Please note: The 2003 S model (the one with fairings, also called SV1000SK3) and the K model (the one without fairings, also called SV1000K3) differs in some points.
For SV1000K3 models use the manual above, but ALSO refer to this appendix (Suzuki Manual number 99501-39540-01E), which outlines the differences between the SV1000SK3 and the SV1000K3:
www.edubs.net/b...
If you own an SV1000 from 2004:
-----------------------------------------------------
For the SV1000SK4 AND the SV1000K4, please refer to Suzuki Manual number 99500-39251-03E (Sorry, can't find it online, but give it a try yourself).
If you own an SV1000 from 2005 and onwards:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the K5 and onwards, please refer to the Suzuki Manual number 99501-39560-03E, which outlines the differences between the K4 models and the K5 models.
This manual is a SUPPLEMENTARY to the K4 manual (99500-39251-03E) and not a full manual on its own! So, it's kinda like the SV1000SK3 having an APPENDIX for the SV1000K3 model - i.e. you need BOTH! (Yeah, it's a bit confusing. Blame Suzuki for that. Not me, haha!)

You can buy it at any Suzuki dealership, at CMSNL, on eBay (careful...but possible), etc.

Hehe, hard work? :) Are you referring to the muffler or the downpipes?
@bj7815

@@motomazz The downpipes. They almost look like you have ceramic headers or something. Ive never seen them without rust

@@bj7815 Ah, gotcha. They've been glass blasted and painted with VHT Clear Laquer. Works really well and is a cheap way to prevent corrosion, even though I WOULD prefer getting them coated with something ceramic....
How can an SV1000N be made to handle better on a budget?
