I’ve been using Tech Spec on my bikes for years. The only drawback on the ones you got is that they hold dirt/debris more than the other ones. Trade off is extra grip and smooth look though.

Hard to choose a favorite because they all have their strong points and character. I put the most miles on the R1 though, so probably that one. I just love the power and handling but the R3 is so practical and easy to get around. The MT09 is so fun and just a different beast with that triple.

Looking to buy these on my speed triple 1200 RS cause im a lil short for it (5 ft 8) and my knee doesnt fit onto the tank too much. I saw the adjustability was something like +/- 38 mm forward/aft & up/down.... thats a little more than an inch. Anyone able to let me know if they thought that was a noticable amount? Its hard to justify spending $700 on a 'maybe'. I'm not convinced its going to get my knee onto the tank, but up AND forward 1 & 1/2 inch does sound like it might do a lil something

I have had these techspec on my Honda cbr600rr and they were very nice and grippy. You should have though used a tennis ball or something when putting them on to get the glue presses every inch. It is like you are Rolling the ball on the surface with a little effort on it. In the summer if not presses all places they rend to slide with few mm if you are leaning and putting lots of weight. Did you have any troubles withe the rear betale light sensor when installong the pegs? I know sometimes the sensor needs some adjustment to propert trigger the brake light. Cheers and stay safe

@@Daniel-dj7fh was implying using GP shift from day one like on his S1000. Because it’s better imo. Also because all you do is tap the second hole yamaha gave you. But fresher builds do come apart easier normally.

@@Daniel-dj7fh agreed. But it’s pretty much two years old now. Plenty of time to get stubborn. Bike's are mad expensive bro 😭 i was like oh nice rearsets, maybe a buck or two and some change, bro its $700! My rearsets were a 150, so i wasnt expecting too much, but it baffles me why some are so expensive and why some are so cheap, how can quality vary THAT much?
@Daniel-dj7fh3 жыл бұрын
One it's brand-name second the engineering behind it, I can imagine you can get a good set of cast rearsets for 150, but if they were cnc I wouldn't trust the material used. But yea, those rear sets are like 1/10 of the bike's cost. I just checked an a "legal" rearset setup for the r1 costs about 600 bucks in Germany (why legal, because pretty much every motorcycle or car part which is not specifically tested by the tüv is considered unsafe and therefore not legal for road use over her. And that nonsense costs the companies extra money to get approved) , so the 700 these cost are normal ish.
