Pressurize the brake and pop the banjo bolt at the top. That’s normally the last step to get that last bit of bubbles out ... PRO TIP :-)

Had a similar symptom on my ruck where the first couple pulls of the lever were soft, and after it was good. I have adelin levers aswell, but it turned out to be loosened up rotor mount bolts on the hub. It would cause the rotor to wobble and push the pistons back. Similarly a warped rotor would cause this.

Pump your front brake lever a bunch of times and then with the lever squeezed crack the top brake hose banjo fitting. This normally works for me on getting the last bit of air out.

Do you have a leather jacket for winter? Do you find any leather jackets can be tolerable in Texas/Louisiana summer heat? Struggling with gear choices and cycle gear reps just follow you around like your buying an appliance

I think I read something like the brake pump piston size (diameter) of the brake lever and the caliper has to fit together. The pressure ratios are changing when it is a mismatch. Maybe read into that topic. Maybe this is causing the strange brake feel.

Please Help! I ordered a Left/Rear drum brake lever with switch to replace a lever that broke. The new lever does Not have a spring on the pivot point of the handle to keep the switch in the closed position when it is not being pulled back. My old brake lever does have a recess in the pivot point to accommodate the spring and it has the spring thus keeping the switch in the closed position. How could the new lever I bought possibly work without the spring? I don't see that it can.

Same
@DivergentDroid3 жыл бұрын
@@paulflood4420 I figured it out. The tension on the cable provides the tension. The spring is not needed.
