I finally beat it, but I had to change the difficulty into easy. Even in easy I died once. Thank God now in hard mode we could skip this minigame.

My advice to beat this boss is to hug the sides CONSTANTLY, the whole boss fight, ride on the sides and wait for your long range attack to fill, once it does hit the boss. Rinse and repeat until you stagger, hit them until it recovers, and then go back to hugging the sides. Yes it's cheap and will take longer but if you're struggling like I was, do this strategy

This boss is super easy. The only problem are the controls of the bike which don't allow you to accelerate or decelerate while attacking. So make sure that you are at the correct position before mashing the attack button.

This boss was ezpz for me on the PS4 when I first played the game, but now since I am playing through it (and intermission) on PC to prepare for part two soon, he is doing nothing but thrashing me, it's just insane.

On future playthroughs, you can skip the motorcycle sequences, bosses included. Also, the last two chapters are short if you skip cutscenes.

My PS3 Controller starter to act wonky, I must have restarted that fight 6 times! I was barely making a dent and thought I'd never be able to finish this fight, thank you! I just had to be more mindful of my health and keep ploding on, but it helped to see it wasn't hopeless.

Wasn't easy but key i think is keep at the wheels and attack it at both sides and when it uses big cannon brake your speed and attack it from the other side that method worked for me

There is some rubber-banding that goes on during the fight. He's going to pull away from you for a while to get out some attacks, then you'll be able to catch up to him. Just keep your foot on the gas and you'll be able to attack at certain points.

I kind of wish it was like in the original game where you fought him on foot. Maybe have him chase you initially and then it transitions to part 2 at the end of the bridge, then have the boss music from Airbuster play. I think it would kind of fit. For the record, I kind of enjoyed the straight-up boss rush at the end, except for the arbitrator in the end.

I'm so happy to play FF7R, but after i fight with Rufus, then The Arsenal and i thought i could save but no came this motor minigame, i died three times when i fight Motor Ball, i shut down the PS. I'm so frustated.

This fight goes to show that the HARDEST BOSS in this game is PATIENCE! Camera+R2 (speedboost) which almost does nothing makes this really hard! Even Kingdom Hearts 1 sephiroth is easier than this shit! This scene ruined the Sephiroth faceoff for me, too frustrated to enjoy the next scene.

L2 is the brake. The controls are always displayed in the top left whenever you're on a vehicle. Super handy!

How did you not take damage from the guns? Is there a glitch I'm not aware of or what? You were definitely in its line of fire yet no damage. So, wtf? And yes, I have tried to best this thing 3 times with no luck. This and another walkthrough I found are impervious to the machine gun fire. I'm not.

When it shoots at you with its guns, hold R1 to block the bullets with Cloud's sword. This also serves the purpose of charging up the (Δ) attack bar at a faster rate. And I feel your frustration with this fight. I would have turned it down to Easy if the game would have given me the chance to do so after the shinra building boss gauntlet.

This fight was dogshit. To have such an immaculate battle system and instead make the second to final boss some dumb-downed, badly-controlled 2006 on the rails fight. And it's not hard mind you, just very very VERY unfun. And it blows because the sequence of events was going really well for the most part; You fight the ghost monster thingy, then rufus (which kinda sucked not gonna lie), then the tank, then some awesome ass cutscenes, and then this???? You lose all motivation for the next boss fight. It completely kills the pacing. Who at Square thought this was a good idea? I need to have a chat with them.
