Thanks for the videos. I have an 2008 6.4 engine with factory everything still. Pushing 355k miles and we drive it to Yakama Washington from Pensacola Florida once a year since we've owned it new. I haven't seen any of the issues people talk about. Mine was manufactured date September of ,07. Has an International designation in the valve cover. Not sure if it's an all maxxforce parts engine or not, but it's been one hell of a truck. 8623 engine hours. Thanks again.

I have an 08 as well . 170k no issues. No blow by and equal and balanced sound when running starter test. Pull around 10k once in a while. Delete around 150k with 35 hp stage 1 . I will check for the international stamp .

I wish I lived near GA. Had to cut loose my 7.3 a few years back due to no shops in the NW knowing how to work on em. You are a great asset to the powerstroke world!

Hey how are you, i have 01 7.3 i change the injector cups and change the o rings on the injectors the truck set over month because weather and parts, but got it together and turn the key and motor barely turns like it's whining ....starter and batteries are good... can you give me some idea why it's not spinning over it was before i replaced the cups and injector o rings

1996 7.3 rough idle I change the oil fuel filter every oil change for some reason I have picked up a little misfire or something I just get a little vibration at low RPMs it cleans up once I get up into the 1500 2000 RPM range it's fine? Not throwing any codes?200394 still getting 16mpg took it to my local guy he could not figure it figured I would hit you up

Whats your thoughts on the cp4 pump Should it be change out after so many miles ?? Should it be replaced with another pump after market to avoid failure?

​​@@grasscutter88 6.7 owner doesn't have the choice. 7.3 owner should know to spend on OEM parts, and replace anything that's needed while your in there for a solid truck. They are cheap anyways,but you'll always have those bums doing the very minimal. I won't mess with customers like that either. Period.

@@powerstrokehelp i’m messing with you, i know you are in the business for reliability. i like my 6.4 because it makes 11 second passes with simple bolt ons lol. and if it blows up, i’ll do what you said to do, drop a ford motor right back in it, and i use o ringed heads and arp studs👍

Real powerstroke specialists don't take 6.4 questions. If your dumb enough 2 buy 1, your dumb enough not 2 listen when the specialist says don't buy it

The 6.4l was garbage, I've seen a few that have made it, most didn't. Not just external problems but just about every kind of internal problem you could have with an engine, 6.4s had it. You would be better off swapping to a 6.0l. Ford should have taken care of everyone who bought one and international should have paid out their ass until they went completely under, which they almost did until GM decided to revive them.
