The whole front end of thos car comes off, fairly easily. A bunch of T25 and T30 torx bit screws, the intake box, some connectors for the headlights, power steering, radiator fans, the upper and lower radiator hoses, then all of what you need to work on is easy to access... its miraculous you got that snub mount to go in with the front end still on(though, that's not saying much, I changed my alternator without removing the front end or the serpentine belt🤷. All of this while being snowed on too)

Very helpful vid, When I've looked at mine I couldn't see how to get at top of engine mounts via engine pay so the stubby is a great tool to use 😉

You're supposed to put the front end into service mode in order to put the snub mount in. So the whole front of the car kind of slides forward and you place the snub mount on the stud that is on the motor then move the front of the car back into original position. You can look up Audi or Volkswagen service mode and there's a guy that tells you or shows you how to do it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWOzZ4icm6toobs

Hi. Are the motor mounts all the same? For this vehicle. I was told I need : Lower front, lower right & lower left. Can I just order 3 of the same or do the come in different sizes? I’m so lost please help 🙏🏽

If I remember I believe left and right are the same but the front snub is a rubber squished donut

Later I found that I had to put the car on service mode I did not want to.- I believe I pushed the engine a bit back and the other 2 mounts were either loose or I hadn’t put them on yet. For this I had the engine supported on jack it was very tight and idially taking the front end apart is easy but quite some process
