There are several on the market, from a handheld made by UEI to big box versions offered by the major tool manufacturers. All depends on how many bells and whistles you want. :-)

AESwave I purchased the master kit from you guys a month ago, out of the box, cop paddle probe isn't working, have tried it on 3 different cars. Also, sometimes I'm getting lined through my screen and unable to read volts in top right corner, and frequency. Have called and left a message, no one has returned my call. I like the unit and would like this issue fixed please

They make an inline unit for the attenuation.

The pattern on the scope appears to have high resistance in the secondary ignition circuit. I'd say external to the cylinder. Bad plug wire?

NothingSpecial no it’s actually perfect btw it’s a signal generator. Gotta learn diff scope patterns my friend. It looks diff on a pico. No bag plug or anything else.

For $399 you can get a real scope with alot more function and bandwidth than this rubbish.

+hansonsux The cool thing I see about this is that they have included everything including a low amp clamp in the kit at that price... as opposed to a toy scope that you have to immediately figure out how to reflash the firmware and install other people's software on. When I first looked at the video I was thinking the same thing... but I am an automotive tech and this is perfect for a large amount of what we would want a DSO for... ( and I own a Pico and a SnapOn Vantage). Upside... size and simplistic and a complete kit aimed at car guys and the signals we capture. Downside... size and simplistic. Can't do something like monitor 4 wheel speed sensors. There is a trick for aligning cam/crank signals with only one channel though.

How can you align cam/crank signals on this single channel scope? Or how about syncing? Say I did a relative compression test using the scope and saw a cylinder with low compression, any way to sync it with say an ignition coil so I can plug in firing order to know which cylinder is low? New to scopes and this is my first one
