Jazz is the real beast, can keep this car for 10 years and still the engine and suspension will run smooth, i20 is just a plastic toys with features only, there are a lot of mechanical problems which come up on i20 so can't say about it's reliability. My colleague from office has to visit every 4-5 months to the service centre of hyundai, common problems he is facing is rear suspension, brake pads and even he had to get the clutch plate changed at just 37k kms he uses the car just from home to office use in city only...

I have both Elite and Jazz.. this is my 4 years review. Jazz is much better than Elite. Jazz interior quality much more premium and about the luxury Jazz is best. For Elite 10 out of 8 and for Jazz 10 out of 9. And both car design is European

Excellent comparison sir. I would pick the jazz over i20 as it is more comfortable and much better to drive and much more composed. Sure Jazz 's dynamics are good but not in the league of punto or polo. But Jazz's dynamics are much better than i20. I like i vtec motor more than kapa engine. I vetc is more free revving than kapa motor . Jazz is not bad looking car but i20 looks better than jazz. I like the interior layout of i20 more than jazz. Since overall buying dose not end with looks and interior feel so as a overall package I feel jazz is better choice than i20 .

Hello Faisal, Iam current owner of elite i20, it’s great and odo is nearing 50k. Since few months I have observed that my car is too wallowy. I don’t exactly remember how it was during my purchase, Is it the suspension or Tyres ? Or the car itself is like that ? I’m still running the stock tyres - apollo amazer 3G maxx I have recently driven new Dzire for 1000kms, I did like the ride quality. Can I get this same ride quality with my i20 with any suspension/tyre upgrades ? Thanks in advance!!

Abhimanyu Mampuzha I guess that's because majority of the premium hatch buyers just do not consider the Polo TSI as a complete package. No doubt, the TSI is a jewel of an engine but limited rear seat space and comparatively expensive maintenance than Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20 keep the prospective buyers away from the Polo TSI. They are generally considering one of these two - Jazz or Elite i20. Polo TSI in my opinion is more of an enthusiast's choice.

I would like to ask one question here.. How Baleno is a good choice? Do we give any preference to the build quality and safety before we buy any car? I see lots of people giving more importance to the looks and features and not even concerned about safety and build quality. Baleno and most of the maruti Suzuki cars have very poor build quality.. I have seen couple of crash videos of Baleno, no one survived.. It is that bad.. I request you guys before you make your choice give importance to build quality and safety.. Because your family is more important than the features and looks of your car..

Id always pick from honda or vw because i dont trust and really hate hyundai, kia, maruthi, tata, mahindra and mg because their build quality is utter waste and they focus more on unwanted features more than car's performance, stability etc. But honda and vw are masters in premiumness, I have a honda jazz and my friend has a vento both the cars are 8-10 yrs old and they still feel like new. Also the build quality on the jazz and vento is very good. The jazz doors only bend in if you put like a ton of force, and the vento is the same. Overall the honda jazz is the more spacious and relaiable car in the hatchback category with polo above it. Polo has a rlly damn good build quality with lots of performance and also stability unlike hyundai and maruthi etc
