Ford Freestyle doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. For example, no unnecessary sun roof (in India!), no DRLs, no LEDs. It's all the car that people need and nothing more. It's core features are safety, performance, fun to drive character and comfort... I think as a "car" all automobiles should first concentrate on Safety, followed by performance , followed by comfort and convenience features. Ford really hit the nail on the head with this one. I hope people buy this and not let Ford stop production of this car.

sayaji kale if and only if your priority is the practicality of boot space then go for the aspire or else its a no brainer.. Freestyle any day. Freestyle is a more capable car in terms of handling bad roads and rough terrain. The driving dynamics will be much better because of stiffened suspension and tough anti roll bars. The interior and inside space will be same. Aspire is a figo with a boot mounted on it but the freestyle has its own charm and looks much better than the aspire. Any other doubt??

I purchased Ford Freestyle Trend variant 3 months ago. This is a mid variant segment. My God!! What an awesome car. Tremendous power, great pickup, lovely to handle, good mileage and awesome features like sync 3 infotainment system, sensors, reverse parking, camera and above all with very good safety features. All this and more with a price of 7 L only. ( on-road ) Ford Freestyle should not be compared with I20, Swift and others. This is way above them all. Great awesome value for money.

well do you think Ford cars are inefficient ? I own many Ford, VW, Honda, Suzuki cars as I do a car lease business and from what I ve seen under same circumstances a Maruti is likely to give just around 2-5% better real life mileage than a comparable Ford, Eg Aspire gives around 18 kmpl average whereas a Dzire gives around 19 kmpl , but we all know how slow and turbo lag hell the Dzire is compared to punchy yet efficient Aspire, See its all the herd mentality, very poor decision making ability

Well I thought and thought then realised Tiago jtp is also good but then we won't be driving on a racetrack all the time so 166mm ground clearance and a stiff ride quality isn't a very good option.. then if I compare freestyle titanium plus petrol and nexon petrol xm both are almost at the same price point.. but nexon has 20mm higher ground clearance but freestyle is more safer car here.. also baleno is okay but I wanted a car that can glide over potholes and be fun to drive while at it.. so I guess freestyle is best:) although doesn't look as flashy as baleno but depends on what you buy the car for? Driving or the new FB status update😂

I feel you should have recommended the Honda as the overall winner. All people need here is a car with show off value, space and features. Why bother for the most critical part (Engine, gearbox, safety, etc.) when all people need on the road is how on lookers react to their ride? So what if it comes at the cost of enduring some patience and pain while driving on the road? Airbags are still alien to Indians so 2 are just fine. Sorry for the rant but tired of the useless and misinformed high value purchases we make (not just limited to cars) only to make others suffer as manufacturers just churn out lifeless products because we just lap them up! Stop making cars Ford India, only idiots like me buy them for safety, engine, performance, gearbox, etc. It's all about features and more of them even if we get a bullock cart in the end!

Bro consider me one of those idiots hahaha... I felt something when I hard braked my Aspire at a speed of 120 when a truck go onto my lane suddenly then my Aspire poorly performed that it saved me and my family by not letting car slip over the lane unlike a maruthi which would have slept over and who knows fatal.... and i felt that shear braking power stability that day my aspire could offer.... the feeling I had when I hard braked a Honda Jazz at 60 with enough space between Jazz that i drove and the car on the front...The Jazz barely managed it... To my surprise Jazz couldn't offer the safety feel and the braking power that i enjoy in my Aspire diesel which is over 1.5 lakhs less than the Jazz petrol top variat I drove that day... So same feeling...hahahah

dude hav taken 270 km drive in the worst hilly roads of nagaland, wirh average 21 km/hr.. there was no tarmac rd due to new construction project.. i shows 13.7 km/pl. but m able to get 17.8 in flat but broken roads of Manipur

Wrv is really rich look n premium family car.. But if it is less than 1.5-to2lakh from current price, then it will be money for value car ,and as per my experience it is really better than breeza n i20...in comfort.... But less than ecosport ride feel.. And no doubt.. within one year freestyle(figo n aspire) will be in top selling 5 cars... Only thing ford has to increase no. Of service centers immediately....

Not sure how the service cost of both Ford and the Honda is similar... I know how much both would cost... Ford service nowadays are much cheaper than any other manufacturers not just specific models but from figo to endeavour... My aspire just costs 4800 that includes regular service like oil change, Airfilter and extras like wheel alignment rotation and balancing with some specific complaint that i ditched the left tire hard on big pot hole and it was hanging and free running pretty ba, so I asked the service to check the entire underbody and the suspension front rods with the bearings so they did it in front of me and luckily nothing had a problem ,😊 so all this took just 4800...Actually just the service without any other extras if you do not opt and no complaints would cost just 2800-3200rs with Ford's service promise and Pocket service And the same segment my friend has a Amaze and he says for his petrol amaze he spending almost 7 K for just a normal regular service, no complaints not even airfilter change... And the service interval is 6 months or 10K kms.. on the other mine is a Diesel aspire with 1 year or 10K kms service interval.. So that's how the service cost is for an Aspire Diesel vs Petrol Amaze... The same story for my friend s Jazz i.e same cost.... But I heard from my friends that newer Honda model nowadays comes with 10K or 1 year service interval but the cost remains the same or higher I guess... Still ford is cheaper to maintain that any other cars nowadays... Share your thoughts....

wrv is the jazz with extra plastic only. not the real cross hatch. same in case of i20 active n etios cross. you are paying 2 lakhs extra for plastic??? freestyle is real cross. it's suspension is different, ground clearance is different n features are really mean that. such as traction control, ARP, ESP, HILL LAUNCH ASSIST, N ROOF rails. so... obviously freestyle is ✌️👍

Please drive both cars and you will know. Ford has added slack to the steering of the Freestyle to make it easier to drive, like they did with the EcoSport.

MotorBeam Probably, even with slack it felt better than WRVs overtly assisted, steering, also Freestyle steering though a little vague felt far more hefty when dealing with long sweeping corners, in shirt stints the Freestyle felt a tad nervous as the centre feels too light, but again at the extremes it felt far far more communicative than WRV, I too will never agree with Motorbeam on this, nevertheless a good video, Would have loved 0-100 timings of both these cars,also Freestyle is just 50-60 kg less than WRV variant to variant..not 100 kgs

I too ve driven both of em, WRV diesel and Freestyle petrol, dont know whether WRV petrol has better steering, but diesel wise, the WRV felt too light and lacking any kind of feel, still not Hyundai bad, but still no way near as good as Ford,VW,Fiat steerings So this is a point I too cant agree with Motorbeam.

I have 3 members in my family including me 2 5.11 feet one person 5.5 feet I think freestyle is best i drive the car and my father 5.11 can chill in front and my mom is 5.5 so she will have no problem with read headrest...

Wrv can be an SUV because you consider creta as SUV though it has a ground clearance of 190 but wrv has a ground clearance of 188 which is almost equal to 190
