Love the smooth SYNC3 from Ecosport, good to know they've brought it here. With the amount of kit on offer, this is easily the safest car in India right now below ₹10lakh. ESP, Traction Control, Hill Hold, 6 Airbags. Wow! Ford is leading this time and has gone all guns blazing to give a sweet product. They regained my attention with Figo Sport, and now Freestyle seems to be nicely tuned product for our roads. Just wished they gave the Aspire's rear seat with armrest here. Otherwise there is no flaws I can find here. Sweet Petrol and Diesel engines with new gearbox. Wishing Ford for good success with this one. Hopefully buyers research cars nicely and choose the mechanically well made one. Cheers!

I agree.. Hyundai is fooling Indians by giving gimmicky features and not safety features. The worst part of i20 is that it doesn't even has EBD, auto wipers,auto dimming ORVM,rear disk brakes.

I love Ford. I had Ford Ikon for past 7 years. I was really very happy with that car. Then moved to Figo 2015 model. Its really good inside the city & highways. I have taken this Figo to Goa with my family. It gives good mileage of 19 Km/litter Ford has used a same engine to this Freestyle. No much changes in engine. But they have modified the outlook of this car. its good to buy this car.

Took a test drive of it and i was quite impressed. The only thing which was doubtful was the build quality. The doors felt very light although the hood was really heavy. And the right end ac vent was broken in the testdrive car. But still mighty impressed!!

the figo with the same engine didn't have a lag till 2000 rpm, it had a very​ little lag like 1300 - 1500 only ! And the same engine is said to be carried over to this car as well ! my question is if there is no difference in between the two engines then why the lag ? Is it because of the new gearbox ?

The diesel is without a doubt way better. But what I have heard from other reviews, it isn't as peppy as the k12. But it is more powerful. The boosterjet engine is a better equivalent but that is just too expensive

Shantnu Mehta hey I won't call baleno a premium over figo just because it isn't safe. Whom will you show your premium baleno when you aren't alive...!!! Baleno is no doubt bigger , more comfortable, spacious. But figo delivers better milage...!!! yes that's true , lower maintenance...! Again this is true , better driving Dynamics, better AC, excellent brakes, fantastic sync 3 infotainment system, powerful petrol and diesel engines, and the main of all is safety in which freestyle is loaded with safety features and better built quality than tin case.
