You dont have to hide this alarm. Its made to be waterproof. Its better to put it outside so it can ring louder, as long as its on a discreet location. To change the ringing volume and sensitivity, you press and hold the disarm button until the blue light keeps on. Then press the lock key to change the sensitivity. For the volume, press the bell icon. Once the blue light turns off, then its set. Also the blue guitar pick, is used as a shim when opening it to change the batteries. : SomeoneWhoReadTheManual... ;)

The key to a good alarm is layers . Cover the bike . Under the cover have one of these on your bike in an easy to find and access spot . Why easy to find ? Because the would-be thief will find it , it screams at him , so best have it easily accessible so they dont go ripping your seat . And the final layer is a well hidden , silent GPS tracker , makes no noise , the thief thinks they have fooled you with yoyr stupid alarm placement so they are not even going to look for anything else . Meaning that it is more likely that they will be careless and leave your bike above ground where you can track it and find it and wait for the thief to come by and jump on them and just like that you got your bike back and a cool necklace as well . Diablo II players know what i mean ;)

@@BarricadeRides You know i purchased this device after watching your video, with a back up Xena lock, but the one you recommended is just so low, i have it under my seat and wow cant hear it too much, is there a volume to it? Also does it suppose to shake my fob if some one touches it?
