Great to see how much camping equipment has evolved in the 40 years since I used to go camping on the bike.Great video as always.

It’s all changed Ian, all super small and compact, I remember as a kid my dad loading up a trailer to carry all the camping gear 😂😂⛺️👍

Really impressed how camping gear is now almost micro sized,I can remember bicycling to camping trips into North Wales in the early 60's when 2 of us had to share the load, the little gas burner is so impressive, well presented.

Thanks for your informative video. I particularly liked the format/size of the sleeping bag. Unfortunately for me I'm allergic to down, so I would have to look at a synthetic fibre sleeping bag. Do you have any recommendations ?
@MOTOUK1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Tim, I don’t have any recommendations, I normally ask the store guys when I go to the camp store. 👍

Just changed my bike for a new vfr800f with future plans to go touring, started to buy camping equipment, still got a quite a bit of stuff to get yet, buying a little at a time as the cost does mount up, some good ideas picked up from your video, let’s hope the weather picks up, so we can get out on our bikes before summer ends, ride safe all

It's better for your sleeping bag to be left unrolled if you are not actually in transit The down bags need to breathe
@MOTOUK14 жыл бұрын
Yes agree I have mine in a warm home cupboard unrolled and also my sleep Matt 👍
