@fighteroffoo03 Thanks! I'm such a newbie, thank you for correcting me. So...is it TIG you're using to make the welds in the frame?

In the state of Florida as I understand I most start from an existing VIN. I want to build a triker with a v8 350 chevy engine and transmission and narrow 9 inch rear end. My question is what motorcycle neck can I use that can handle the wight so I can get the VIN with front it. I have seen few frame for sale on Craigslist but I don't know what I need to look for.

I just discovered this information and ccguide. Wow very appreciated Drive line question Been looking for the proper segment regarding transmissions. Sorry off topic. Have to ask. 111 S&S motor. Ridged frame. Want to run a early horseshoe oil tank. What stock application transmission would work best. I can not use my current touring transmission. Thanks for any thoughts.

Is there any type of chopper frame building software? I'm a 2 year welder, fairly decent, and have a future business, Andzulis Customs, and need to design bike frames so I can put that design into an actual project, if there is a software please reply and let me know what its called so I can start designing, credits will go to this website mentioned in the video for helping me find the software. Thank you

+Chris Andzulis you can use autodesk 3ds max or maya or any 3d software . . . even BLENDER . . But , I think professionals use CAD for designing or DESIGNSPARK or SOLIDWORKS . . . And you will find plenty of how to tutorials here on youtube . . or you can purchase tutorials from websites like - lynda.com or digitaltutors.com and many more similar sites . .

+Chris Andzulis It's been 2 years and I'm just seeing your question. But, if you haven't already found something, I'd recommend BEND-TECH pro. There's templates for several projects including exhausts and motor cycle frames. It's extremely user friendly. I've used it for just a few weeks and I feel like a pro, but, I'm far from that. custom-choppers-guide.com has blue prints that are very reasonably priced.

just curious, are you affiliated with the guys at the chopper builders handbook website? I couldn't help your narration sounds like you're reading right out of their articles. it was the line about buildimg something that works was something to be proud of that got my attention since I had just read that on their page 5 minutes before watching.this video.

This is great stuff! This video doesn't say what type of welding is ideal for frame work though, MIG, TIG, GMAW or whatever...
I've been around choppers since the mid-Sixties. I've seen the disastrous end results of poorly modified (read fit-up and welded) frame components. I've seen everything from poor fit-up, to lousy welding, to trying to weld dissimilar metals. Be careful!
