Thanks & great to see you again Andre⭐ Your content of ECIMA was incredible & super professional! The BSA does look great, but I prefer the Bear650. Call me old! Cheers & thanks again!

The yellow scrambler tickles my fancy. Might end up snagging myself one of those next year.

Good to see you covering Motorcycle Live, the new BSA Scrambler looks great and is definitely worth serious consideration as my weekend cafe hopper in 2025.

It's nice to have a bit of choice vs the RE Twins. I just think bikes like this sound right with a single, and while I get the nostalgia for the old bikes and these 'aren't real BSA's' they are modern, and work, and they are staying in business, unlike the last ones made by the 'real BSA' that were 1930's bikes updated with 1950's tech, being sold for a premium price in the 1970's which would have been fine if it hadn't been for those pesky fast, reliable, good looking Hondas!

@ it’s a gold star made into a scrambler by Poulson Creative well worth a look to see the potential of what can be done with these bikes

Nice bikes. I really like the V65 Scrambler. A bit heavy for a 650, although I'd love a big single. Nick

Yup. Same.... it has taken a while and isn't a massive change. That said, we did get them first in the UK and scaling up takes time.

BSA introduced the GoldStar at £6500 to £7 grand and are now selling them under 5 grand. The scrambler, which is just a dressed up GoldStar, is again coming in at £6500. The smart money would say that in 12 months time the Scrambler will also be under 5 grand, my advice is wait till then because in reality it's a 5 grand bike.

But the orginal Goldstar is only Euro5 compliant, not Euro5+, so they can only be sold as ‘new’ until the end of this year. No new Euro5 bikes can be registered from January 1st 2025. For this reason, many manufacturers are either significantly discounting or pre-registering their Euro5 models. The Scrambler is already Euro5+ compliant, so they have no reason to reduce the prices. Take a look at Moto Guzzi or Triumph for the non-compliant ‘new’ bikes or that Suzuki have discounted all of their scooter stock by £1000 to shift it this year. Not sure who the smart money is, but if they don’t know about the emissions changes, perhaps smart is a little generous?

We will see, you've obviously got more faith in BSA than i have.
@PeakMotorcycles12 сағат бұрын
@@ianhalliwell8604 perhaps, but the Euro5+ thing will see a lot of dealers having to discount or pre-reg bikes to shift them. Triumph West Yorkshire are selling a brand new Speed Triple 1200RR now for £13,495… a 2025 model without extras is £18k. I don’t think they are doing that as a Black Friday 25% discount.

A shame that yellow scrambler weighs 10 kg more than a BMW F700GS.
