That comment went 0-100-0 I don't even know where to go on it. In my opinion no respect for authority is good in areas where the authority is bullshit laws restricting freedom. If there is no victim, there is no crime, in my opinion. But legally this is not always so - the laws of man want to ticket you for doing anything outside the "norm" AKA anything outside the controllable. If they can't control you they do their best to kill you or ticket you so bad that you can't afford to do anything but live within the controllable realms. On the other hand, I'd consider myself to be conservative/right-wing and really support the officers out there saving lives and protecting the people. But these days, you find more bad cops (AKA cops out for profit or out to hurt people who are having fun) than you do good cops. I respect firefighters and EMT/Paramedics/First Responders more than cops these days.

Its Gawzy Actually, while that applies to civilians, cops are authorized to use different levels of force on a person depending on the crime that is suspected. If it is simply a moving violation, they can't do much but take down plates and video, then go knocking on doors later. If a chase goes on for a long time, i.e. the guy doesn't manage to get away, they will eventually be authorized to use force to stop the vehicle.

I've outrun the police twice. Once on a motorcycle and once in an Audi A8 S-V10. The trick is not just being faster than than pursuing vehicle, but being able to get far enough ahead that you can duck off an exit unnoticed and change direction.

I suppose its kind of hard for cops to catch a bike that can accelerate faster, stop faster, coroner faster and ride between cars. The only thing is these guys do bite the dust at times though and crashing at 100 mpr if you survive you may wish you hadn't.

Why is it ppl who ride crotch rockets think laws don't pertain to them. Show me a compilation of Harleys doing dumb shit, don't think there's one out there. Lane splitting should be illegal, not like they would follow the law if it was, it's dangerous, and they never, i repeat NEVER, follow the speed allowed when doing so.
