Motorcycle rideout North Yorkshire. 19th October 2024.

We met at Strikes Garden Centre in Stokesley for a couple of hours out on the motorcycles.
Michael Heaton was to lead us around the yorkshire dales taking in Helmesley, Carlton, Gillamoor, Low Mills, Rosedale Abbey, Danby, Commondale and Castleton.
We were out about 4 1/2 hrs and rode through heavy rain to begin with until that cleared to a warm cloudy day with the odd sunshine.
A grand day out.

Mick, definitely a great ride out, I've had bikes years ago and I know in the wet, cold it's not the best but when you're out with friends it more than makes up for the bad weather. 👍👍

I needed to get out this weekend. It did get better and the weather at the end of the ride was great

Apart from the weather a great ride out , at 77 I’ve just given up bike riding due to Parkinson’s disease weakening my legs. I had my bike on top of me, I was coming to a stop and my right leg folded under me.Fortunately passing motorists stopped and wrestled the bike off me)
