Greta video Sal....its funny I have been watching your videos for a long time and bought some of your earlier training videos when it seemed you were a bit against glue pulling. Now to see you evolve and doing total repairs with glue is pretty cool to see.

Hey thanks for the comment and I do really appreciate it. Actually my opinion on glue is still the same and I try to be clear about it. I don’t like the use of it in repairs if you’re having to take a tool to finish it anyway. Many times techs don’t start R&I soon enough in a repair because they start glue pulling first. Since I teach wide pushing my pushes look like big glue pulls and so when the scenario is there I do the R&I first and open up all the possibilities for leverage. My contention has always been that glue pulling can many times simply waste your time and put off the inevitability of efficient pushing with tooling. Hope that makes sense.
