Love the Oz humour and great music. I LOL every time you guys mention “cold” or “chilly” (I’ve been to NSW). I live in Sweden some 80 km from where Husaberg originally started in a shed on a little headland sticking out into a small lake. There was no name for the bike in the beginning, but the locals started calling it Husaberg because that was the name of the headland - there you have it!😉

@@emrysjones5266That’s really cool. I was given a tour of the small Husaberg factory before they were taken over by KTM (a real dark day in motorcycle history). They made almost everything themselves, including handmade frames. Someone asked if the frame builders needed special qualifications - the dry reply was, “They need to be able to weld!” It was a lovely small operation at that time.....nostalgia! Ride safe😉

Dear Dave and crew. Just want to let you know that I thought your vid was wonderful. I have just started 14 day quarantine in Fiji in order to finish 2 yr post and it was a very welcome way to pass the time. I took well over two hours to watch as I tried to break down your route in detail with google earth as the trip went on. I just did a 6 day ride up the coast as a way to 'sign off' before heading off to Fiji...and your trip has me wondering what other adventures await on return in a few years. Two fave moments ....Dave to Mark...."What are you sleeping on...a packet of chips?".....and Dave to Dave re Mark...."It's so sad Mark will never get to see this" (after Mark did the rear wheel bearings in the Hus). Great scenery, great riding, great tunes, great video work and editing. Thanks Dave and friends.

Good to see you boys riding in some formiler🤔 territory that I use to rome around all those years ago. Yes I use to own a DR 650 back in the day. Do you think they are slow & off the pace here is two little tips on livening up that reliable machine. 1:- disconnect the electronic carburetor governor solenoid. Then slip a 13% mix of Shell's Shell A racing fuel into her fuel tank. She will run a little HOT but hang-on as you come up the side of those other bikes looking over your shoulder seeing the white of they eyes as you pass them by. Although these days I ride a Yamaha R1 & a old Honda XR 600r that my little brother had given me as a gift 🎁🙂 before he turned into a little nieve prick! 😤🤷♂️😔 That's suffering what I'm calling LITTLE BROTHER CINDROM. As I haven't been riding that much lately because of other commitments with the Tamworth Astronomy club.🌌 🔭 The feeling of adventure riding is calling from with in but my abusabated acking body is making me feel so old. As I'm trying to get some cions💰 together so I can get another new bike this time. I'm thinking the Husqvarna Norten 901 will be my next new ride. So I too can enjoy life once again.. P.S Rosie she no longer lives in Tamworth but at the age of 50 she look as sexy as she did when she was sweet 16😍 all those years ago. When the 9 of us use to terrorise the districts On Any Sunday while riding our dirt bikes..

@@robertjameslim4605 entry level second Suzuki DR650 second hand, middle aged blokes set them up, ride them once and sell them. The ultimate bargain. Yamaha WR250F. Comfort and bang for your buck new, KTM390 Adventure. But hold on a little while, the Honda CRF300 Rally has just arrived. I test it next week. Specs looks great, price looks better. Kawasaki Versys. You've got to sit on them, got for a test ride and understand clearly what you want to do with it. A word of caution, many people initially go too big. Dirt riding is very different to the street. My advice start small capacity with low seat height and don't invest too much money during your settling in period in this unique sport, where no one bike does it all.

What a truly great motorcycle adventure video! Really enjoyed seeing the country and listening to the banter. Next time, if your feeling brave, do an overnight camp in the Pilliga forest and keep an eye out for Yowies. That place is reputed as being Yowie central, (Oz bigfoot).

Loved the adventure, great vid as usual. Shoutout to the Blue bird Cafe in the town of boggabri that you pulled the spike out of the tyre at.
