Mr Neeves is the best bike journalist on KZbin. Watched him for about 3-4 years now. Handled that so well.

MCN? MCN!!!!! Wow, I'm really enjoying how you guys are stepping up your game in such a large way! Your "feature pieces" like this that are going way beyond just reviews are great. I would love a mix of reviews and "stories" of this caliber. Michael is doing a terrific job of being our host in kinds of situations. Keep it up gang!

I really know how you must have feelt. my first track day was in the wet with my dad's bike. Got to the 4th corner and lost the front breaking. shitty fealing to see everybody else drive and stand on the side. But as you said: thats racing, and its allways great fun

Michael every time you do a piece like this you get better. At some point MCN might lose some of your time to a more mainstream TV presenting job. As others have said this kind of work shows that MCN are committed to providing top quality content. Keep it coming !

Great vid. Was this before Jamie's treatment? Would be good to hear how he's doing now. Fantastic guy, brilliant ambassador for the sport. Best racing commentator and interviewer ever.

I owned a 1981 Katana 1100 back in 1987. Back then they were a weapon, if somewhat uncomfortable? There was a Limited Edition "Wire Wheeler" produced here in New Zealand for production racing, which had different carbs and cams to the standard model, as well as wire wheels, which were the same as the factory wheels, being 19 inch in front, and I THINK 17 inches in the rear? The carbs on this bike appear t ne the same Flat Sides as were on the Wire Wheeler here, so I would be interested to know the specs of the motor.

All the best Jamie, you won the race before, you can do it again mate.

That's a shame. Poor Michael looked so disappointed. Not ofton you'd get the opportunity to race with two motorcycling legends. Hopefully they get a chance to do it again.

Great video. Sorry for the team, but seems like no one hurt anything more than their feelings (and presumably wallet(s)) - which has to be a good thing. And best wishes to Jamie in his fight against the bad health again!
