Great bike. He is right, it's just about 5% off on a couple of things, throttle and suspension. Easy fixes though. Once you've got it set up for you, this bike is bang on! I'm in love with mine. For the money, even including setting it up, it's hard to beat.

I've got mine since October 14th, I'm an everyday rider and this bike is perfect. They are right, you have to get use to it but once you do, this bike is just wonderful all around.

Solid review/opinion. To be honest, you can't get everything at the going price. It's a fairly cheap bike, but great value!

Love all your tests and never comment but why is it that you never include the BMW F800R in any compare tests. I've always been intrigued with this bike and, I'm not sure if you've ever reviewed it.

Suspension is ADJUSTABLE, throttle has THREE power potions learn to set them.

I know this is a very late reply but I think the video is spot on. I have a 2014 bike and honestly the throttle is horrible. I'm amazed it past QC testing, never experienced anything like it to be honest. Still, easily fixed S-Tech Newbury reflash £266 - job done. Suspension is set hardest for me and it's fine but yeah a little under damped - adjustment wont fix that.

I've got to say, the one thing that bugs me about the MT-09 is the position of the dash unit off the side. I like a bit of symmetry in front of me. Would consider the MT-09 for my next bike based on this though

There is a bracket available to centre the dash for not much money. I was the same but it's not an issue once you start riding it.

I've just bought this exact bike (same color and all), 2015 model. The location of the dash unit suggests to me like is was an afterthought. Yeah, okay, you'll need some information, whatever, here you have a dash. I sort of like it. It's fun.

I just bought my MT-09 brand new. How long(km) does it takes to run the engine in ? and during those running in time., in what rpm range should i stay just so that i don't ruin the engine in the long run ?

Read your owners manual - it tells you the break-in procedure there.

I should have spent the money and just got the Z1000. The throttle is annoying. Its not as bad in B mode but A mode & standard it pisses me off. The nose dives in moderate to hard braking. There is zero storage no helmet lock & the seat constantly pushes you towards the tank. I hear the FZ07 is a much better bike& looks better too. Hope they bring it to the u.s.

Where did the GSXR come into test??? You have an Aprllia Shiver Sport 750 , Kawasaki z800, KTM 690 Duke, Suzuki GSR750, Yamaha FZ8N and XJ6 NL SP and others close to the price range. Thought with the knowledge and riding experience MCN has. MCN could have done better research and do better job. Keep up the Videos
