won't be for long. Bikes are going the same direction as cars. abs, traction control, shift for you, rev match for you... hell won't be long til they're self driving too and there's no point in riding at all. I wish nothing but bad things for the numbskull at Honda whose idea it was to put DCT on a motorbike.

Having owned the 600, 750, and 1000, I will fully admit that the 750 is still the sweet spot. Mine was an 01 model, but the lady has an 07 down in the garage now. Hard to explain, but the 750 is fun in a way that the 1000 is not. Perhaps because you can still wring its neck!

Love it! As an ex Australian Superbike racer during the 90’s, on a Suzuki just reminds me about when WSB was arguably at its best. As an example, my home racetrack is Phillip Island and the trackside attendances record is still from 95 and 96. It’s hard to find these today in this condition.

@@stevehayward7947 The only positive thing is at least the idea of WSB hasn’t changed that much. I do however miss the top 4 Japanese 750 cc bikes and the original 916 Ducati that kept things interesting and entertaining. I was about 200 metres behind Foggy when he had his crash exiting turn 2. A spot I’m still yet to have seen another bike depart that part of the track again.

Great clip guys, always love them. I just picked up a 2011 L1 GSXR750 off a family member. I wasn't keen on a 750 but it was to cheep to say no. My last bike was a 2010 Hayabusa and before that a SV650 and have ridden lots of bikes from Hayabusa's to Harley's. I have been pleasantly surprised by how good and fast the GSXR 750 really is. I flipped the clip on's from left to right and put them upside down which gave me about a 2 inch rise for free which has made it even better for me. I'm also surprised how much room it has, I'm 6 foot 7 tall and 115kg and it still feels great for a sport bike. (I know I shouldn't be riding sport bikes at my size but they are just to much fun)🤪 I also changed the front sprocket down one to a 16tooth and the back up 2 to a 47tooth. It has made it accelerate more like a 1000. Just such a rideable bike. Was going to ride it for a year then get a GSXS1000 but after a couple of months and the mods I've done to it I'm going keep it now, Such a good reliable bike😊👍

Nice vid. Great bike. Surely it's time for Suzuki to update & relaunch the GSXR750 in Europe. Sales seem good for the relaunched supersports 600's & they wouldn't need to do much to it at all. Also the 1000's are getting too expensive & too fast so the 750 would sit in that sweet spot for those upgrading or downsizing. It's also a great all rounder, especially if it has adjustable footpegs which previous models like this one have.

Riding a gaming pc on wheels is all you feel on the electronic mess of modern bikes. The 750 stands alone in its purity and weighs less than all the modern 600s as well. It's a KILLER package and I hate electronics so it's only natural. I'm 6'3 and it's comfy for me as well for half-day rides. Its taken down many 1000s in stop light races and back roads. Update it with a TFT and the QS from the GSX8R and itll be perfect.
