Motorhome Parking For Visiting Burford

A quick video about parking a motorhome to visit Burford in the Cotswolds. The information was given to us by the staff at Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club Site. We had a walk along the High Street and I looked inside St John The Baptist Church. We were on our way home via an overnight stop at Warwick.

Burford always reminds me of Warkworth in Northumberland but it has a castle on top of the hill. Where I spent many a happy hour in my youth. If you ever go there you will see what I mean.Well worth a visit.

I don’t think he C&MH car park info about parking at Burford is complete. We are local to the area. When staying at the Burford site we park our MH in the Burford Garden Centre Car park. It is free and very large. Even at busy times there are masses of empty, large, unmarked gravel areas towards the back. The GC is a high end destination in its own right, catering for the Cotswold set. It has a restaurant, coffee shop, food hall, clothing and gift departments, toy shop as well as the usual horticultural sections. At Christmas the displays are simply stunning. The 10 minute walk to the top of the main street is along pavements. Crossing the A40 is no problem using the traffic - we find drivers wave you across safely as they slow down for the roundabout. I hope your subscribers find this information helpful.

Oh, having your end titles going, before the end of the video was confusing! Luckily I noticed there was still a few minutes left on the video, so carried on watching. Normally when the end titles come on, I exit full screen and go down to the comments section. Burford looks like a nice town. I love all the different architecture. That bridge was frightening to cross on foot, don't blame you for turning back.
