MOTORHOME TOUR - PORTOFINO - LAKE MAGGIORE 🇮🇹

European Motorhome Tour day 38-40. We head to Portofino and Lake Maggorie where our ebikes take us on one of our highest accents to date.
Day 38: Portofino - Camping Miraflores. £26 MH+2people
In portofino we mix with the jet-set, we eat our cheese and beetroot sandwiches at the harbour while life's elite drink bubbly and indulge in freshly caught seafood delicacies.
Day 39: Lake Maggiore (Lesa) - Camping Solcio £36 MH+2people
This campsite was a bit more expensive than most and activities were limited for us at this time of year. (Oct) The ride to Stresa was on the road so not ideal, if we went again we'd use the Aire in Stresa rather than this site.
Day 40: Lake Maggiore(Feriolo) - Camping Conca d'ora £26 MH+2people

It was seriously hard work even on ebikes, the tunnels on the way up were great and it would be amazing to go back one day and explore them without our ebikes.

it’s not often you see a Gas Holder abroad but that’s a MAN waterless gas holder (basically a piston in a tin cylinder) at the end of ‘that’ bridge (10;43) loving the trip ❤️

We do find ourselves planning less and less these days to the point all we do is book the crossing from the UK to France. We do remember the early days though where we did book ahead a lot. Stunning route through the northern lakes ❤ 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 Think we took a chair lift from stressa up to a mountain restaurant where there was a roller coaster/downhill luge 😆 Can’t believe Michelle missed the most important fact about portofino tho (where Wayne Rooney and Coleen got married 😉) We doing 7 weeks in Italy starting the end of May so we will be using this series as reference points Awesome video guys 🚐💨❤️
