Motorized Bicycle Builds (9 Bolt Sprocket Pineapple Joint Made Easy!)

I see so many people struggle to get these sprockets lined up! It seems to be one of the parts that defeats many! It is not so bad! You just need to know these few easy tricks and you will be centering your sprocket like a pro first time! The can trick will keep your sprocket Centered! It will also help keep it flat as you tighten everything down to some extent. By having the sprocket at a point it can't move around. your clamping position will be identical on every spoke as you go around making your joint flat!
Important staring point: Make sure your Rubber bushings are flat! If there is and huge variations it will be hard no matter what you do! These are made from cut sidewalls of old car tires!
Fun fact: These are called Pineapple Joints! Most confuse this with A Rag joint! The Pineapple joint Replaced the Rag joint way back in the days of steam engines! Was a fast easy way to join to spinning surfaces! Rag joint: was rags wrapped around two shafts to connect them as they twisted tight! With the invention of rubber! The Pineapple joint was born!
