I bought one with the jackshaft kit of Facebook marketplace the derrailler was pretty much broken and I was thinking about getting a regular sprocket setup no I think I'm going to buy a good derailleur and give it a chance.

I've been back and forth with the dilemma of using a kit for a 'distance traveler' bike,to save fuel and wear.I'd use a regular non-shifting chain on the drive side.That's probably why your original chain didn't set in the sprockets right.Standard bike chains thicker and a different offfset.I basically only use 3 gears anyway.Thanks for the fight,to show us the build.

Hey bro., try take out the cover in clutch and put the tensioner holder inside and bolt it... maybe that can help you... thanks..

Next time you want to disassemble your crank i would suggest spending $20 or less on a puller. You can buy one at any bicycle shop. It only takes a few seconds to use it and it's being done correctly.

Damn dude. The chain that comes from the shaft to the pedal sprocket goes on the inside and the chain to the rear wheel should have gone on the outer sprocket

It’s amazing what instructions will do when you read them or maybe when you see something not fitting maybe look it up on KZbin or do a little research into it because 9 out of 10 times yea you might get a bad part or a missing part but when your having to modify more than one thing and you have more than one thing that’s not fitting or working your probably doing something wrong on putting it together unless it’s something that’s not even made for the project your doing not every part should be a hassle to put on or want work the way your doing it I promise specially something like this your probably putting it on wrong somehow and once you start with one part on wrong none of the other stuff will go on right trust me my first bike motor I put on I fought it because I wasn’t doing it right so I had to take everything off and start over from the very beginning and everything went right into place but you will learn young grass hopper

@mozezcen-valley75553 жыл бұрын
Hey I was wondering is the jack shaft kit worth it and did it make your bike go faster also another thing for your loose chain you might want to consider a BMX half link chain
@barriosbuilds76883 жыл бұрын
Yes it makes your bike faster, is it worth it NO. It’s way too much work. It’s already enough dealing with just one chain and with this you have three. Yeah not for me…

does that rear mag wheel have a 6 bolt pattern? mine does not and im trying to figure how i can mount a sprocket?
@barriosbuilds76882 жыл бұрын
That is weird, mine came with the six bolt pattern that a disc break would normally bolt to. Maybe look into one of those hubs. They are all over eBay and Amazon. It may work, not 100% sure.

Good night. It would be great if we had these two engine mounts that hold the shaft that transfers the force to the other side. Like, they contoured on some A4 sheets, each support on a sheet, for pdf so we can make our own supports. Think about the partner idea. It would help us a lot in the shaft adaptation process via email. Thanks for the attention

why don't these things come with instructions??? I want one but seems like a pain in the ass to install and you should of put on a high performance head also
@barriosbuilds76882 жыл бұрын
Beats me… I love to keep them as stock as possible. Messing with the head and other engine parts can likely make the engine more unreliable.

@@barriosbuilds7688 I have a racing engine with a high performance exhaust and head with a 36 tooth sprocket and it moves. Even with the smaller sprocket I can still climb hills like nothing. @barriosbuilds76882 жыл бұрын
Nice! Mine are just cruisers and go off road every once and a while… but I highly recommend not getting the shift kit. It’s so much work just to get it moving. And when it does it’s just terrible to tune. Not to mention you lose the peddle start.
