Have got this after waiting for 7 months. I can say this car is totally worth the price! The features, the design is outstanding. The grill actually looks awesome in person which from photos I thought would look like shit, but it actually makes the car impressive. Range I am getting around 350-370 with climate control so satisfied as I have shifted from the Diesel eating Innova to this. If we have a robust charging infrastructure EV's are meant to succeed in the automobile space.

Feels like in near future we will stick to hybrids. Moreover a Hydro Hybrid. Where we might use Hydrogen to charge the car's battery while on the go and simply refill Hydrogen for long range or just connect to power source when at home or where charging station is available. This seems like a more win win situation up untill now.

The hydrogen car are still 20 years away, hydrogen cell requires very expensive Platinum and Iridium and replacement for this is not found yet and efficient production of green hydrogen is yet 10-15 years away

VW india ,BMW and TOYOTA plans to have solid state battry insted of Li-ion..which is more cost effective, non flammable, fast charging and long range( as density of chahes stored is more)..there are other bttr options also(graphene, flouride , ammonium nd Li sulphr batteries ) . Other companies should also look forward towards that

Never ever trust a range of ev..... Per kw of car*7 is real range.....thats what u should keep in mind irrespective of brand or company ..... Example nexon max as 41kw so 41*7# so range is 290-300 Mg zs ev 50kw so 50*7=350 range BYD E6..72KW so 72*7=510-520km... This is real range of any vehicle ..but no reviewer says this... I did so much research on thiss . .hope its helpful

Yes from the front bottom is quite unique but not that appealing and interior 's design of dashboard looks simple, sophisticated but even I agree with rachit that the camera could have been better and also the boot space. Thus I feel old ZS ev looks simple and better than the new one. But with the new one the safety is much more better with adas level 3 also included in new one. Regen feature is also very helpful hence I might consider it but still not sure wether i would like to purchase it. Hence its not that much convincing to buy the latest facelifted model. Therefore I would like to buy the old ( pre-facelifted) version, of the MG ZS ev. As per me.

I bought new ZS EV. All is well. One thing I failed to understand that how’s everyone calculating running cost as 1.5 to 2. With home charger I sit in highest bracket plus added with other terifs etc the cost per unit is @16at home. And that is translating to 4-4.5 per km (2500 avg monthly run) I have not understood the maths.

MG Hector Diesel costs around 20 lakh on road. This EV Max will cost around 27 lakhs on road. So basically I am paying 7 lakhs more. And despite paying 7 lakhs more there is always a risk of battery discharge on a long journey. Also the battery strength will deplete over the years. A new car might give 450 km range on full charge. Maybe after 5 years that might come down to 350-370 kms. There is no video mentioning that. Also, when i buy a diesel car, I am saving 7 lakhs rupees. And I can easily use that 6 lakh rupees towards my diesel cost over the years. Lets do a simple math. Lets assume major diesel cars are used 12000 kms a year. Not everybody travels extensively. Assuming that the average mileage is 15 km per lit, it will consume 800 lit diesel in a year. At 100 rs per liter, that will cost me Rs 80000 per year.......that is rs 640000 in 8 years...........which is the battery warranty duration in the EV. Also after 8 years, you might have to replace the battery, the cost of which is not known as yet. I would prefer buying a petrol or diesel car rather than an EV,
