Yes, the headlight is not that bright. Can somehow manage in the straight portion of road/highway. But in sharp turning hilly roads the Headlight is very much inadequate. Cornering light is not an luxury it's an necessity. As we live in hilly area with sharp turning roads driving the creta at night is a big problem. I am very much disappointed with the absent of cornering light in it, which is the only think I don't like in creta.

If the headlights were in the place of the DRLs then the lights would have function well, this kind of setup actually wastes a lot of light throwing on the road which is very close to the car itself. The angle of lights should be looked after on this

Just completed 1200 kms on my 20 days old Creta SX Diesel Automatic White.. Few takes Positives: 1. Sunroof, very very good for winters. Did not open the glass, only shade slide. In fact its opened since purchased, indoor parking helps. I think roof shades will be closed between Apr-Jul. 2. Very smooth ride, after 1000 kms engine felt more open. 3. Total mileage is 15.6, where i have driven 600 on highways. All on Normal mode. Have tried Eco and Sports only to check pickup. Sports is punchy but engine sounds boosted. Overtaking not an issue on normal mode. 4. Revv is smooth, no lag in regular driving. Felt a minor dip after crossing speed breaker. Lot better than Petrol Automatic. 5. Coming from i20, it feels spacious, significantly than last gen Creta. No complaints from anyone seated at back. There is no hump in between, so middle passenger also feels comfortable to place his feet. 6. Infotainment screen is thoughted well, which is divided in 3 sections. Maps can be kept with media or calls. Found missing in other cars. 7. Wireless charger is very handy. Got to know its utility after usage only. 8. Engine noise is less as of now. Lets see after 10-20k. 9. Lot of space for bottles, charging point at the back, sun shaded in back window all these are helpful. 10. Long journey is comfortable. Negatives: 1. Boot Gate design has sharp edges, if anyone has noticed. Got a scratch and swelling when it hit my head while closing, my bad. Then I noticed its straight and curvy on other cars. It needs a little modification. Dangerous for short heights. 2. Music system is not so good. Felt SX(O) Bose much better than these. My old i20(Asta) has better quality. 3. Blue Link starts automatically, sometimes though. Read somewhere, others are also facing the same. 4. ABS still not top notch. Same with i20. 10 years is a big time to improve. 5. Interior material quality is compromised. Plastic is hard, material around gears is also not up to mark. Hope these don't get loosen with time to give rattling sound. Silver plastic panel outside is also cheap. Does not give sturdy feel for a 19lac around car. 6. Driving seat is not ergonomic for short drivers.

@@AkhilWalavalkar Ivt, if u are more into mileage thing, now m getting around 20.4 kmpl (petrol variant), & in cities also u'll definetly get 15 kmpl+ if u drive it properly, its all about how you drive this baby 👌, turbo will be comparitively high in maintenance due to dual clutch heat & other factors, also in turbo for some strange reason they offer only black leather interiors which for me is kinda suffocating & light colour offered in rest & ivt variant looks & gives more airy & large feeling. If money is not a concern for you & u are kinda adventurous person than go for turbo but for city, family & all round purpose IVT variant is perfect.

Yes . Skoda rapid is really a fun to drive car . Creta E doesn't even have a music system and not even the basic safety feature of child isofix mounts which even ciaz has as standard . People are blindly going for SUVs . Rapid is great choice and is a driver delight car. Hope you enjoy great moments with your new car . (Ig there was some news regarding the new Skoda rapid launching/ and creta E delivery will be uncertain 8months 10months or even 1 year ).
