5:57 the weirdest part about this crash is how the car seems to scream right before it hits the wall. It's probably just cause it got airborne, but it's really bizarre and it caught me off-guard.

I saw the tail end of the Chris Van Der Drift crash from trackside. It was shocking to see the car come sliding in to view in such a state. I didn't find out about him hitting the bridge until I got home afterwards because I couldn't hear the PA system.

Look at Villeneuve crash at Spa and how the gravel keeps the car in the wall, compared to the current tarmac runoff consistently causing worse accidents with drivers getting t boned - Hubert in 2019 of course being the major example.
