Jack Roush has a deep and storied career. He is a genius and a character as well.

I feel Jack Roush is an often misunderstood individual in racing. He’s a giant in my quarter and I’m not a fan of Ford, but this man is a genius. Many more years is my prayer for Mr. Roush...........

I once did a NHRA match race against him and won. He was very interested in my engine because it was less cubic inches than his and in a heavier car. When I explained that an Indy cars engine builder helped me build it, he was fascinated. Ford 427 FE engine with a Ford 330 truck crankshaft that turned 7000 rpm at the finish line. I still have the car and still run the same engine. In fact, it won its class this past June 2023 in NH. It won June 2022 at the same NH track. 9.86 1/4 mile race.

Kyle, that was an awesome interview with Jack! You were able to delve into his racing background and teams backgrounds and reveal things we had no idea about. Putting Paul Newman in to drive the last 30 minutes at Daytona and win was so smart. I had the privilege of meeting and talking to Paul for about 20 minutes at a Cart Banquet back in 1992 and such a nice man. You are really outdoing yourself with the last 2 Coffees and I look forward to watching many more.
