recently drove civic 11th gen oriel, if you ignore the specs written on paper. from a drivers point of view the acceleration is far superior from the old generation. the throttle response is instant, turbo lag feel nahi hota.

@@minaco2772 that doesn't make a difference... yes it's turbo charged but the way Honda sets their turbo is that it spools gradually. at the end of the day it's still less horsepower than Civic X but I suppose due to better transmission or different throttle mapping, this gen is a little more quicker. Although I would also think that Honda may have lied about their HP figures, like they do with RS Civic. Maybe this engine actually produces more horses like 140 HP or something because the 1.5 Turbo in other markets makes more hp in other markets like USA.

Why are the numbers for the Honda Civic 2022 1.5 Turbo all wrong? It has 182 hp and 220nm of torque in my country which is Malaysia. I would think it is the same as yours.

in pakistan we have three variants of civic standard and oriel have 1.5 turbo engine which produces 127 hp and 187 nm torque as cliamed by Honda\ the top the line version whuch is know as RS produces 176 hp and 220 nm torque so yeah there is a difference between your variants and variants available here pity the one we have here is not that fast the old gen turbo rs was very quick.
