I think its hilarious how people are quick to critique Lincoln models as knock off Ford's. Yet, no one ever mentions Lexus as knock off Toyota's, Infinity as knock off Nissan's, Acura as knock off Honda's, Cadillac as knock off Chevy's, Audi as knock off VW's... How can one who owns one of the brands above mentioned critique Lincoln for being a Ford? Amazing.

MKC is a great small crossover, with a high degree of premium feel and luxury in a small package. Styling is great and sales have been brisk. This vehicle has helped in bringing Lincoln back, and MKX is doing the same. When the new Continental arrives, the brand will be in great shape. Lincoln is the most growing car brand in the automotive world, as of June 2016!

Acura is 10000000% a honda that looks better. All companies do this. This looks much better than the escape
@mikehoard70335 жыл бұрын
Everyone says it's just a dressed up Escape, have you ever driven one? We bought a 2015 used for just over 21k and love it. My mother in law has the titanium escape and I would buy our MKC over it any day. Much quieter, quicker, smoother ride, alot less busy interior and layout. Definitely better than the Escape in every way.

The Lincoln MKC is a much improved Escape. We’ve had both in our household and it’s no comparison honestly, especially since our Lincoln has the 2.3. It’s bone stock except for a Livernois MyCal tuner and 160* TStat. and it’s a great vehicle. Fuel mileage isn’t all that, I’ll admit, and I think it rides better in Sport mode than Comfort. It handles well, and especially after tuning it has great performance for a 4 cylinder AWD heavy SUV. Creature comforts are aplenty and it’s a great highway vehicle for long trips. All in all I can’t complain, though I’m not the owner just the person who maintains it an occasionally takes it for drives, but the owner and daily driver loves it as well. I’ve also dogged quite a few “sporty” sedans and coupes which always gives the other driver a surprise.

It's a sort of greatest hits compilation. BMW silhouette, old MBZ cladding... sweet motor, though.
@paulcallaway7111 ай бұрын
I don't mind the black plastic cladding around the bottom. I think it looks fine and adds extra protection from rocks and debris. All in all that's a nice looking SUV comparted to a lot of them out there.

In my experience the escape has been solid and reliable, i would love to own this, only drawback would be the buttons to shift drive position
@tomtalker20006 жыл бұрын
I have a 2015 MKC in the Select trim. The shift buttons too me at least are fantastic and LEAPS ahead of anything else in it's class that was produced during that year. They are not hard to use at all and the engine is VERY powerful with the 2.0 the 2.3 was a waste it isn't much better.
@kennethpowers89953 жыл бұрын
@@tomtalker2000 The 2.3 is an animal once tuned. You also have to feed it at least 91 octane. But it’s not even close to a 2.0, our old 2.0 EcoBoost Escape made 203 HP at the wheels, our current MKC 2.3 makes almost 300, and well over 350 wheel TQ. It’s a huge difference my friend, almost a full second in the 1320.

Awesome Lincoln MKC Small Crossover
@rudfil7 жыл бұрын
Nice looking on the outside but too bad that interior looks kinda weird with that center stack and push button transmission. And did I forget the small and narrow seats.
@102936 жыл бұрын
Rudy F you did but no one cares.
@tomtalker20006 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding the push button transmission not only frees up SO MUCH room compared to a traditional shifter. It's also leaps ahead in it's design then any other car in it's class during 2015. And it shifts SEAMLESSLY.

These look so much like the Audi Q5 to me. It must be the tailgate.
@tritchie627210 жыл бұрын
Kinda to bad they didn't bump the horsepower up to about 300-350. Seems like that would make it a bit more fun. Not sure how much it would hurt the mpg but I wouldn't think it would totally kill it.
@102936 жыл бұрын
T Ritchie I agree they would have touched 300, more just to say that they did at the very least.
@tomtalker20006 жыл бұрын
It's not needed and the 2.3 is actually a waste. The 2.0 i have in my 2015 MKC in Select Trim is MORE than sufficient. Very reliable, quite, and POWERFUL engine. This is the best small SUV i've ever owned.
@Nightbird.10 жыл бұрын
I would never buy this vehicle new..due to the horrible devaluation it would have. But as a used car in a few years this should be a good deal if you can get it right at $20k. Paying any more for it would be crazy.

Considering your point i just bought a 2015 MKC Select Trim with 27k on it for $19,600 in Dark Blue with Ivory interior. And i am AMAZED at the amount of tech the vehicle has. Much less how quiet and powerful the vehicle is. The real test will be this coming winter and how the AWD performs. I was ready and all set to get a 2018 Ford Escape Titanium. But quite honestly this MKC is NOTHING like an Escape. Besides the engine it shares everything else is pure luxury period.

Acura is an overpriced Honda. Lexus is an overpriced Toyota. Audi is an overpriced VW.
@Fussinated10 жыл бұрын
varadarcop "Acura is an overpriced Honda." It is not. " Lexus is an overpriced Toyota. " " Audi is an overpriced VW." Audi is overpriced and VW is overpriced. Definition; Overpriced: too costly for the value For Acura and Lexus the value is justified by the price. However, for Audi and VW the price is too high for what you get.
@varadarcop10 жыл бұрын
The value isn't justified by the price. The price is high because Toyoduh and Honduh know that foolish Americans love their egos more than anything and will spend any amount of money to try to impress people they don't know. I don't care about impressing other people, I have pride in my country, pride in fellow Americans' products, and pride in vehicles built right here at home. If you own some foreign piece of whatever, you will always, always, always pay MORE to keep it and maintain it, than if you own something designed, crafted, built, assembled and manufactured right here in the USA.
@Fussinated10 жыл бұрын
varadarcop You are an idiot. " The value isn't justified by the price. The price is high because Toyoduh and Honduh know that foolish Americans love their egos more than anything and will spend any amount of money to try to impress people they don't know. " So, they buy Toyota's and Honda's for that purpose and don't buy BMW's Audi's and Mercedes'? " I don't care about impressing other people, I have pride in my country, pride in fellow Americans' products, and pride in vehicles built right here at home." You have pride but you are as ignorant as a 2X4 lumber. A Toyota Camry, or an Honda Odyssey, has more parts that is made in the US on them, than a Fusion, or a Malibu. And the most American car today that is sold in the US is the Toyota Tundra. The way you function, as an American, looks like to lick European ass. "If you own some foreign piece of whatever, you will always, always, always pay MORE to keep it and maintain it" Bullshit. Today Honda's and Toyota's are more American than GM and Ford. Chrysler is already a European brand since it is owned by Fiat. " than if you own something designed, crafted, built, assembled and manufactured right here in the USA." And that is a Toyota Camry, or a Honda Odyssey,, or a Honda Accord, or a Toyota Tundra etc. You don't know what you are talking about. And actually I think you are not even an American, and you should know that we real Americans don't want European junk in our country. You lack the proper ethics to make reliable cars to commute economically.

varadarcop I work at ford but I'm driving a Hyundai. Why? Because I get more bang for the buck. 10 year warranty? Check. I am sorry but I have to agree with the poster above. Your comments makes you sound like an ignoramus. Perhaps you do not not understand why companies outsource labor in China or anywhere else abroad? It's because of the opposite of the point you're trying to make. Labor is more expensive here, so the products end up being more expensive.

Uh Oh now there are recalls on this and its counter twin way to go Ford I thought GM was bad..LMAO 301 Ford vehicles from 2014-2015, including Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC models, recalled for potential stalling: ow.ly/Ck1tP
@pillrollerdeluxe8 жыл бұрын
+hnnotyy Only 301? When GM does a recall they rack up a quantity of 30 to 50 thousand! GM will ALWAYS BE WORSE in that respect. Plus, they're dishonest!
