Soft touch materials all 'round, lots of sound insulation...I am a big fan of that.

It's SUPER QUIET even when i press the pedal hard i barely hear the engine. Which has TONS of power for passing. Also the AWD is very efficient in the winter. And if you have the adaptive suspension it absolutely floats over bumps and road imperfections. Lincoln hit a home run with this small to mid sized luxury suv.
@dchawk8110 жыл бұрын
I used to think badge engineering was inherently bad until I bought my Navigator. It's basically an Expedition, yes, but it's a loaded Expedition with the biggest motor, biggest transmission, tons of features and creature comforts, all standard. In other words, it's getting everything foisted on you whether you think you want it or not, finding out how awesome it is, and being thankful you didn't get the stripped down Ford.

I love Lincoln's. They're great cars and because of that my dad bought 3. Navigator and two mkz's. Which one of the mkz's is mine(im also 16) and the other for my 19 year old brother.
@tomtalker20005 жыл бұрын
I just purchased a 2015 MKC 2.0 AWD and it's a GORGEOUS vehicle. It may share the same platform with the Ford Escape but that's about where it ends folks. The luxuriousness of this vehicle, it's turbo engine, competent AWD system, adaptive suspension from; Comfort, Sport, and Normal modes those things alone set it FAR FAR apart from any Ford Escape. It's the best vehicle i've ever owned and with only 30k on my i hope too have it for a long time too come. After that i've got my eye on the 2020 Kia Telluride.

They keep getting closer with Lincoln. The liftgate on the MKC is a nice design feature. I still think that Lincoln needs a RWD sedan built off the new Mustang chassis. They really need something that is distinctly not Ford.

The Ford rep may be a great engineer but as a presenter he was out of his comfort zone. If Roman had not been asking leading questions the video could have been over in 45 seconds or less.
@PorkyLovesMud10 жыл бұрын
That's pretty typical really, that's why you have a sales department separate from an engineering department. Two different kinds of people to fulfill two vastly different roles.
@wsc3110 жыл бұрын
PorkyLovesMud I agree with you 100%. Which begs the question of why engineers are put in a position where they are expected to fill the role of sales personnel. Guess we should be grateful that they don't seem to have had sales people pinch hit in the engineering department ;-)

I hate to inform anyone who thinks this is a great car, but let me straighten you out about a couple things. This is not a dependable car. I replaced front brake pads at 30k miles, had a battery completely die, sunroof shade squealing, rear shocks clunking (which ford did not fix) and 2 recalls. All before 40k miles. Yes, Ford took care of the issues except brakes (shocks-I unloaded the car at this point) but I was coming up on the end of warranty and would own all future issues. I finally traded this car off and was so happy to be rid of it! It is a beautiful looking car with so many features just waiting to fail. Ford gives you a Lincoln when you bring one in for warranty work. The MKX loaner had as many problems as my MKC! These are expensive cars. Don't waste your money on this.

@balmianbby10 жыл бұрын
I mean, Lincoln IS an old company and it's still here. There doing there "If it's broken why fix it" type thing. They are aiming there cars for older customers. And they HAVE to keep that grill. It's a classic. It's on all the Lincoln models. The 2015 Navigator is getting it.

Lincoln's quality is not good really, wouldn't consider a lincoln over its european rivals or Cadillac, I got to drive my best friend's 2012 Lincoln MKZ bought new in november 2012, and after less than 2 years and 36,000 miles, the interior looks so worn i just couldn't believe; the interior crome finishes are full of cracks and bubbles, and the leather in the steering wheel and driver's seat is very ripped, looks like a 10 year old car or older, the leather in my 2005 cadillac cts looks new if compared to that almost new lincoln, also the dealer told us that the warranty was completely void on all subjects for a couple of services not done on time.

Don't care. Do not want it. FoMoCo screwed the pooch by killing the Panther and trying to push FWD as the answer. I have FWD as an economy car in my 2014 Focus. Give me another Town Car, or revive the Panther platform and update it. The whole direction for Lincoln is stupid lately. Do Not Want. Chrysler kicks it's ass.
@NEONPARADlSE10 жыл бұрын
I agree! Lincoln needs to bring back RWD sedans.

If you you don't want it, don't buy it. Don't rage in the comments about how you don't like it
@1999CSVT10 жыл бұрын
Delshon Knolton Of course I won't buy it. It's not worth the money. You've missed the point of the rage. FoMoCo refuses to provide the marketplace with what the customer desires, and as such, Lincoln has had their worst sales years in history since they killed the Panther. FWD platforms have no place amongst Luxury vehicles. Chrysler has no problem cranking out 300s that provide a luxurious American driving experience. Even *gag* General Motors saw the light and brought the Holden back to the United States and offers unique RWD offerings in the Cadillac marque.
@balmianbby10 жыл бұрын
Wait, wait,wait a second. "FoMoCo refused to provide the marketplace with what the customer desires." What do you mean? Clearly, people desire there cars and like the. That's why people buy there wonderful vehicles. And Lincoln sales have always been good. That's why after all these years there still make good quality cars. Now, as far as Chrysler making 300's. Chrysler cars are good. I can't lie. But GM came do there thing, I'm not buying a car from them for a while.
