It’s like Buicks Version of the 1998 Taurus and Sable. I love it! It’s modern too and has the front split bench seating!!! Probably will get one with the 3.8 engine as they are more reliable.

I just bought one of these 2 months ago, after being in a car accident, and I have to say it's pretty nice. It's not perfect, but I love how quiet and smooth the ride is while still being sufficiently powerful. I wish they'd put in a 6-speed because the 4-speed does hinder performance. I also like the number of features that come standard. My last vehicle was a '12 Malibu LT & even though my Buick is older, I'm enjoying auto climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, remote start, and a more powerful engine! No lumbar support, tho!

My grandmother has one of these as well. They are a great car and is a very economical car for daily driving. I would choose this over any other economy to mid size car.

I ordered 66 True that. It's a great engine one of GM's best. I've got one with 350,000 miles and still going strong. They're very reliable and fuel efficient. I've got one in a 2008 Buick Lucerne.

Angelina Cortalano They are very good on fuel economy. I hypermiled my dad's once and got 31 mpg on the highway. Not bad for a roomy car like a buick.

The best looking car I have ever seen. Just purchased the same kind in this video. Everywhere I go, people ask me where I purchased it, what year etc. When I tell them that its 13 years old they are astounded. This design is timeless and so amazing. The car performs well. Mine has 91,000 miles, and is clean all around. The 2005-2007 look the best to me. The grill changed after that and the car begins to look like other cars...but 2008 and 09 are still okay. Anything model Lacrosse afterward just loses the uniqueness in my opinion. I will buy another after this one--or wait.. DURING this one :-)

@@wdbittle1 I just bought one with only like 60,000 something miles on it after 15 years, because the previous owners ended up barley driving it. How's your car holding up with that much more mileage on it?

@@Melissa0774 I'm picking a white CXS up tomorrow. How have you been liking it so far?
@Melissa0774
@Melissa0774 4 жыл бұрын
@@RWtubbytime1 That's what I have, the white CXS. Before, I had a 2002 Honda Civic that had a ton of miles and I needed something better. Honestly, I don't like driving the Buick as much as the Honda. I only bought it because I was able to find one that was in amazing condition for such a low price and I really needed another car A.S.A.P. If I had more time and more options, honestly, I would've preferred something else. I paid $4500 for it. The Buick is very clunky and boat-like. It has an even clunkier feel to it than my mom's old 97 Bonneville had, if you can believe that. It's a lot more difficult to maneuver into tight spaces and to parallel park, than the Honda was. Also, I find myself having to put my foot on the brake, when going around curves in places where I didn't have to do that in the Honda. It's just more physically difficult to maneuver than other cars that I've had before. I wouldn't recommend it for first time drivers for this reason. On the plus side, it is a very nice looking car and it doesn't look old. It's the first vehicle that I've had in a while, that I'm not embarrassed to be seen in.

I managed to find a white 2005 Buick Lacrosse in amazing almost new condition, with only like 60,000 something miles on it, about four months ago. It was barely driven by the previous two owners. I got it from my brother's friend and I paid $4,500 for it. I did have to get a new battery and have the contact terminals cleaned up a few day ago, though. Before that, I had a 2002 Honda Civic that was pretty worn out, with like 176,000 miles on it and starting to have problems, so it needed to go. The Buick is a really good car and I'm thrilled that I was able to find a used one in such great condition, but it's more difficult to drive than the Civic. It's harder to see out the back, when backing up because the back window is small and sits at a weird, high angle. I don't like that. It also doesn't handle curves well at all. I have to put my foot on the brake and slow down on curves, in places where I didn't have to do that in the Honda. It's also a lot harder to maneuver quickly and get into tight spaces, than the Honda was. It has a very heavy, boat-like feel to it, which smaller cars like a Honda Civic don't have. On the plus side, it is a much nicer looking car that I am not embarrassed to be seen in. And it has a lot more features than the Honda did. And I feel safer in it, because I feel like it's heavier and there's more there to absorb the impact, if God forbid, you get hit. It's not thin and flimsy feeling, like a Honda Civic is.

Thanks for letting me know!! I wish they would issue a recall for the transmission as well. The sad thing is the lacrosse could have been a really great car if these things were worked out. I love the way they ride and I love the low end torque from the 3.8l v6.

I'm pretty sure you had a very bad luck with your car because mine is absolutely fine (until now). Sure i have some issues just like you, specially with the headlights. But other then that, only the steering wheel (steering rack) was a problem with my car and it is unforntunalety a well know problem in most GM models. (sorry for my english)
