If you look around at the background, it's most likely late fall, early winter. Track was probably cold.

Nice video actually. Too many "review" videos where someone drives around and yacks forever and you never even hear them even get on it! And a great sounding car like this NEEDS to be heard!!

I love mine, but am disappointed with the lack of an analog gouges for temp/volts and oil pressure. My XJ8, XJ12, XJ6 and XJS all have full gauges. Heck, even my `97 Jeep Cherokee has full gauges. I also dislike the perforated leather and the chrome and black finish around the gear selector. The chrome and black coating chip and peel like a cheap GM product (yes, I know Ford owned Jaguar during this period). Performance, styling, comfort and reliability are outstanding.

Such old video and numbers are ridiculously slow. Mine stock did 4.4 0.60 and after tune around 4 as fast as 3.88

My s type r did 0 to 60 in 5.2 and qtr 13.6. Xkr is lighter your numbers are much more accurate.

I'm looking at buying one of these... Should I get a 2007 xkr or the updated 2010 xk... They are near in price

Not to be disagreeable but all I hear is how much more reliable and less temperamental the 4.2 is over the 5.0. Then again though, I have to admit but the time you get done attending to the 5.0's i$$ue$ that extra 90 hp is probably pretty nice!
