I just oiled the ring around where you loosen the nut to take the clutch off and it worked to stop the noise and the stalling. I also had to move the engine forward to tighten the chain along with that tensioner adjusted. The chain out the box was way too loose. Now its running great the past 2 straight days. But I’m aware I’ll get to the point I will have to take that clutch off and do that maintenance you showed. My fix is temporary but works without having to remove the clutch.

Going to be doing it monthly?........more like weekly 😂. I got the clutch off and it's fine but it's the rod the clutch slides onto that isn't able to slip and is doing similar problems like making a grinding noise taking off on it's own then shutting off

The little bar that the clutch slides on. Mines got a chip in the side of the shaft. Will that effect the bike. Do i have to get a new motor

Logan Stewart the bar my clutch slides onto isn't slipping properly. I put the clutch on and try to spin it and it spins but before it completes the rotation it's starts getting harder to twist then after the full rotation it breaks free from it's lock up so I need once then goes back to getting harder to rotate.

Just bought a mini bike and I only took it out twice and has the problems you described, takes off on it's own and weird noise! So if I grease the clutch, it should stop? How is it I already have a problem with clutch?

Bent Truth & Twisted Lies if you grease it it should stop.. and the motovox company sucks at installment so the clutch its self is like 2 dollars

I tried it's not the clutch. Mine has the same problems after one week of buying it and 6 times riding it around. I believe it is bad plates that are being used or the spin is faulty. Damn and I was thinking about getting the 500$ one after the experience with the 80cc. This time I'll get a warranty on a it and have the clerk service it because they asked last time and I said no thanks

if you use an impact gun it should come right off. if not then you should have some one pull on the starter rope as you take it off.

Tap the wrench , with a hammer , to break the hold . And hit shock it to tighten ..😛

quick question on my motovox10 mini bike , when I pull my pullstart to start up my bike my chain and backtire are running basically when I pull my pullstart to start bike it trys to take off and I'm not even touching the throttle or giving it speed so I don't know why when I pull pullstart my chain and tire is running, someone help me fix this please ?!

+Zander Shawongonabe the clutch shaft is grabbing, bcs it's dry. remove clutch and grease the shaft also you can sand the contact surface of the shoes with fine grit sandpaper

I would use stp even if I had the grease, Put stp on chain and loosened it. Lot of power now.

We have an 80 cc Motovox mini bike. Runs and turns the wheel fine as long as there is no weight on it. I do not feel like the clutch is slipping, because the motor does rev up like ir should when you try to take off on it like I think it would if the clutch was slipping. I have adjusted the governer and throttle. Makes very little, if any difference. Bad governer? Carb need more thurough cleaning?

I have decided to take the clutc off to clean it. This bike has been sitting for a while. Thinking the clutch is stuck and not letting the engine rev high enough to pull any weight. Make sense? Now if I can just find a way to get to the nut in the other side of chsin guard near the rear wheel.

very similar across all centrifugal clutches. grease the clutch Idler shaft. this is where the squeal noise comes from and why it grabs at low rpm

Lube it every couple of days, it'll never make it a month, better yet upgrade to a quality clutch, throw the no name clutch in the trash.

They do when you only wax it in your garage and crank it up to hear it idle. They do when you only putt putt around in a parking lot. Any other use and those SOBs get rust welded on there.

These only get seized up due to improper or lack of maintenance. Best practice is to use anti seize on the output shaft before you install the clutch assembly. Problem prevented, problem solved.

The only thing you need to do with that POS engine is throw it away. Those things are garbage
