Mutty Perkins I missed him soooo much. Legendary. I missed the atmosphere of those days, especially when school was out and the was home on holidays, and my father radio was on power 106 during the days.

I remember this incident about 1995 or so when I was in grade 3. School had to be closed down for the day when they burned down Hermine's house. Clarendon Vere people believe in obeah. But Motty was using them for entertainment, obviously

jiggyzee86 I have about a total of 7 hours of Perkins Online and Laing & Company combined. I will try to get them up as soon as I can. The Perkins Online material was recorded during the Dial Insurance collapse following Hurricane Ivan. I know the station has a vast archive of Perkins Online. I have tried to contact the managing director, Newton James, in the past to see if I could purchase a copy of the recording from my personal use but was never able to get through. Perkins Online is one of the best radio programs ever produced in the Caribbean. Mutty had a unique outlook on Jamaican life and was interested, above all, in seeing regular Jamaicans and regular people as a whole stand up for themselves and be informed. The replacement program they have now in the same time slot just doesn't hold up to Mutty's standard of journalism and, when required, intelligent confrontation. When I get them up, jiggy, you'll be the first to know.
