I would wait until purchasing. 250 + home prices have been reduced in Lake Denham and Dabney. Preowned homes are also seeing price reductions. Wait a few months and watch the market. The Developer has bought enough land to build for 15+ years. No sense rushing and paying full price for a home. The way the market looks across the USA, home prices are most likely going to continue to fall.

Dabney has some nice prices, I was checking them out last week. But that area is a bit out of the way from everything also.

@@PapaPineapples Moultrie Creek is out of the way, also. Once built, there will be no thru traffic except school and game traffic. Going to be an isolated area even with Middleton close by. BTW: they only have one lease signed for Middleton. Once built, the store fronts are going to be empty. Not enough population that way to attract business. Buying closer to Eastport or Richmond is a better buy for appreciation value.

Brownwood was similar with the lease piece. I remember the square being partially filled for years and I am not sure it ever really filled up totally. Good point

Plus the family now has the model homes in moutrie creek from lake denham….there must be an agenda for this

@@danandlaurakaufman7865 I walked the model homes. They are the same floor plans as Middleton. They are probably going to show homes for both family buyers and retirees. Lol..the prices for the same homes on the Middleton side are cheaper.

Boosters is named in support of the Middleton high school and campus….course will be used by the high school golf team. Course will be challenging with lots of water hazards. Will have the clubhouse and sports bar/restaurant in one.

IMO Moultrie creek isn’t a great investment. Too close to Middleton & the school. It is going to be VERY noisy there whenever there are games.

We’re actually excited to be closer to the school and where young families will be.

Definitely depends on preference. Usually the closer to the squares and entertainment, the higher the resale
