Evening Ginger, as a now single lady, having spent my adult life in an unhealthy marriage. I am starting to realise that I have allowed other people to treat me that way due to my 'weight' and low self-esteem. I am just now at 54 years old, starting to build a healthier relationship with myself. As they say, you have to love yourself first. Mounjaro has helped me to lose 50 lbs so far, I've got another 60 to lose but with every pound lost I gain a little bit more of me. Thanks you for the raw vlog, it's comforting to know that we are not alone ❤️ xx

Please remember comparison is the thief of joy. As my weight increased my self esteem has plummeted. Age and depression/aniexty played a huge part of my weight gain in the last 5 years but after working really hard last year in therapy i decided to lose the weight. Ive found the gpl1 hasnt had a negative influence on my mental health. Your amazing and are doing so great ❤

That’s great to hear PennySaver and well done you for actively pursuing help. Like you I have been working on ‘my stuff’ for a few years and I think that’s why this time feels a bit different because I have the headspace to think about it and pause before I do anything detrimental to my journey. I have read the insert now and it doesn’t mention anything MH related so not sure why MedExpress claim that. Thank you always for your support ❤️

😊I love your videos - you are a breath of fresh air. I follow you with interest as I have been on Wegovy since the beginning of December and am wondering if I would be better off on monjaro as it also affects the brain chemistry with regards to cravings. A very pleasant side effect is a reduction of the aches and pains I was experiencing ! Worse side effect is having a dry mouth but I do have a cold though. Your curls are wonderful x

My weight has affected my self esteem and confidence most of my life I’m yet to start Mounjaro I’m nearly 59 and hoping I could actually be at a reasonable weight and have a better relationship with food by 60 so I thank you for your videos

I think what you’re doing is important - I’m also trying to journal and get to the heart of some of the reasons behind my issues with food. It’s a journey of self-discovery. I can’t wait until I’ve lost as much as you. I can’t imagine what it feels like to be 30 pounds ish lighter. I’ve had issues with food all my adult life and then I had cancer back in 2022/23 and after my treatment I just piled more weight on. I kinda gave up a bit. I’m enjoying the Mounjaro journey so far. Thanks for your video today 💕

Thank you for that. It IS a journey of self discovery yes and we have to be mindful to work out what is the truth and what is our old garbage. You will be at the 30lb mark before you know it, 15 weeks seems like a long time but it has flown by. Wow I’m sorry to hear about your cancer a while back but I’m pleased you made it through the treatment ok. The post cancer weight gain was obviously some kind of reaction but you sound like you have turned a corner and I am glad you are enjoying the Mounjaro journey. Keep me posted with your weight loss and progress and thanks for the comment.❤️
