How far away from the wall should the mount
@VIVOus Жыл бұрын
This will depend on the TV, but for the average 70" TV, the back of the ceiling mount should be at least 14" from the wall. We recommend first placing the TV face down with the folded mount on the back and mounting holes aligned, allowing an exact measurement to be taken for proper clearance.

I’m really wanting to purchase this mount. There’s only one thing holding me back. I just can’t see the screws holding the weight of a large tv anchoring into nothing but drywall. It just makes me a bit nervous. A horizontal mount that’s stationary I could see it holding. Vertical mount and constantly being moved, gives me pause. I see that the calculated slow movement would severely decrees the chance of the screws pulling out of the drywall, but it makes me nervous to mount a very expensive tv like that for fear of it face planting. Please put my worries to rest. I really want this mount. It would allow me so much more freedom to arrange my bedroom/cave.

This mount can't be used with drywall alone. It will need at least one good stud in the ceiling to provide the main support. If mounted in line with the stud, use the front and rear center holes of the mount, which can allow up to 4 screws to be inserted. If going across the stud, use the "keyhole" on each side. This way only has two screws going into a stud, but since it's at the main point of balance and the screws are heavy duty, it will hold without fail. With a stud (or studs) supporting the majority of the weight, the other holes can be used with drywall anchors to provide some extra stability. Drywall of course shouldn't be used as the main support though, since it could crack over time and drop the mount.

Do u have to run the plug for tv and mount down the celling to the wall or does this have a plug in the mount
@VIVOus Жыл бұрын
The cables will have to be run along or through the ceiling/wall.

This may seem to be a silly question. But can you leave the mount and tv in the up position and watch tv.
@VIVOus Жыл бұрын
Yes, the TV can still be turned on even in the folded/raised position.

How do you power it without having too many wires I only saw you connect the bracket power
@VIVOus3 жыл бұрын
Some users will install a cable channel near the mount to keep the cables more hidden and organized, and there are others who have run them in the ceiling, completely out of sight. We've also seen setups where an electrical outlet was installed on the ceiling next to the mount.

Do you guys have some thing for a 75 inches TV ?

We're sorry, but we do not make a ceiling mount for 75" TVs at this time. We only have stands and wall mounts for TVs that size.

Question: my TV is 70" 400x200 mount holes, but they are located very low on the TV, not more center like this video shows. Any adapter kit for making sure I have enough ceiling clearance?
@VIVOus3 жыл бұрын
Some users have been able to lower their TV using our MOUNT-AD4X4 adapter kit with the arms facing down: amzn.to/2ZGgSSh We hope you're able to get your TV setup working the way you'd like!

@vivo i had some carpenter do this professionaly but im stuck to the fact that i keep pressing it down to retract on the wall at resting position. But how come it doesnt want to do max to the ceiling?? It only does a small retraction like 65 degrees not full 180 flat?
@VIVOus3 жыл бұрын
We're sorry the mount is having problems! It may need a reset. Try unplugging the power for about 10 seconds and plugging it back in, then hold the OK button for 6 seconds. The mount should fully retract to the ceiling. Once fully retracted, press the down button and allow it to come all the way down. If this doesn't fix it, please contact our customer support team for further assistance: vivo-us.com/pages/support

Do you have to hold for it to fully retract up n down or just one press
@jimlighty5109 Жыл бұрын
actually the good thing is that its not that too many algorithm to try pressing the buttons. in the remote theres 2 ways to operate it and solve your question. and next it also has a way to restart those by pressing a button from the remote as well. I saw it in their manual and tested it. so the 2 ways are the up and down button , one press either direction will continuously move until you press the same button again. so if you press up while the tv is not on the ceiling state, like its down, then if you press up once, it will go up continuosly until you press up again to stop it. and the next mode is semi auto clicking it to get your desired level. and press and hold it to retract fully. the unplug 10 secs then plug again if ever its stuck and cant retract from remote@@tcal9230
