To tell the truth the usefulness and robustness of this pack was a real surprise. It is exceedingly well appointed and rides well and for the price is a real bargain.

The fact that you are so particular about your gear is of great benefit to your friends and those around you as they are gifted with your cast offs. You have gone through a fair amount of kit. If you have not already it would be interesting to see a complete kit of nothing but vintage or vintage reproduction gear

Nice looking bag! I particularly like an exterior mesh pocket for stuffing wet rain gear in. I like those little waist belts. True they don't help with weight, but they do keep a bag from swaying around, especially appreciated by me when on a bicycle. 👍 And who couldn't use an extra brain?

I found the bag is so short that the belt would be around my middle and nowhere near my hips but that is an interesting idea, though personally I prefer the bike to carry the luggage and me.

I rarely see someone using such small backpacks. They are very practical. Mine 15l is in my video
