@@mountainbuckI just asked Tactacam about this and said yes it will work but with the SIM card internally now in it , it will keep searching for signal and therefore drain the battery way faster . Which is huge downfall compared to the 2.0 which u can take the SIM card out and work like a normal camera . Have you tested this out without having a subscription to see if it does continually search for signal on the 3.0?

Have they ever added an actual video only option? I absolutely hate the pic + video on my reveal x. I love the video quality and detection range but that forced photo is a deal breaker.

While not a deal breaker for me, it is rather annoying. I don't know how many times I've gotten a picture of something, but by the time it switched from picture to video it was no longer in frame. My X2.0s, Xb, and X3.0s all donit the same way. Browning does it right. Records a video, then sends you a frame from the video. No taking a picture first then having to switch modes before recording. Too bad the Browning cell cameras are so damn expensive.

Wrong the Spypoint Force Pro S 2.0 takes 4 K video up to 60 seconds in length the builtbin solar panel keeps the Force Pro running for months and a time

Hey thanks for contributing your thoughts. I know all about the Force Pro S 2.0. I reviewed it and like it a lot. It does take some very nice 4K video and if you watched this review, you’ll note that I mentioned the Reveal Pro 3.0 doesn’t have the best video quality, but it does give you 30 second video clips to your phone (a huge plus for a variety of reasons). I don’t know of another camera that does that. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻

Try running the software update and giving it a day to update. You definitely should be getting the videos to your phone without the xtra plan.

This camera has multiple issues! I'm awaiting a replacement as we speak. If I had it to do over again this camera would definitely not be my first choice. The stars and planets have to be aligned perfectly for it to work like it is promoted.

@@mountainbuck it has a blur down the left side on night images. Like a third of the image. It does fine on day images. After exchanging emails with a Tactacam rep they suddenly stopped responding. I've heard of a lot of issues with the Pro 3.0. I thinks it's just bugs they have to figure out. The older models like the 2.0 seem to work great with very little issues.
