I discovered this man a little while ago. I must say two things: The value of the knowledge he gives me is huge, the videos are excellent all around. It really saddens me to learn that he has passed. He’s someone I’d take as a role model. I just hope his family benefits from the legacy he’s built up.

I get what people are saying … “it is like he never left” “Almost like he still lives on” I know people are positive. But i think people should really take a moment to realise this man has passed. It is tragic. But he was clearly so motivated and driven in his field that he has gifted all of us this material even after death. It shows how hard working, and driven this man was. Much respect and love for the family and whoever continues this channel. Stay good

John was right about laughing during a hard set. I mean, I wouldn't recommend a belly laugh when you're in the middle of a set of heavy squats (for obvious reasons), but laughing on the inside as you crack a grin? That totally helps with the pain! Plus, people think you're a badass because laughing at pain - as if to say, "Is that all you can throw at me?" - is the kind of thing badasses do. RIP Mountain Dog.

Mike from Elk Grove California age 63. I'm soo happy u put this video out on Recovery/Fatigue. Hopefully you've seen my most recent successful lift on KZbin "335 lb Decline Bench Press Age 63 Wt 189" My point is this, I have numerous. Medical Condtions: Full Spinal Disability, Brain Tumor, COPD, Acute Poly Phoriattic Arthritis, extensive coronary heart disease. I'm doing everything to fight and stay healthy with all these ailments. But I'm sooo happy to hear you say, and I highly agree, that its "TRUE", you dont have to do excessive sets on muscle groups, I know cuz It works. I have to listen to my body, and I only workout 3x weekly alternating muscle parts on specific days, and working out every other day so my muscles can recover and my body.

I love the last fact that you gotta laugh more, hearing that from someone whos already passed away kinda made me realize that theres always gonna be shit things happening for example his passing which at first is quite sad but now I still watch his videos and kinda laughed how he went from diet to ”eyy just laugh more“ and even moreso have rather a positive reaction to his videos So whats to take from the video? Live a heathy lifestyle, not just physically but mentally too because sometimes the mental aspect is more important than the physical.

Doesn't protein get converted into glucose on low carb? Is the point that our bodies are incapable of doing it enough? The only thing carbs do is add water weight which can give you a better pump as far as I understand it. Anyone?
